Here, Fandango at Home customers may post information, questions, ideas, etc. on the subject of Fandango at Home and Fandango at Home -related issues (home theater, entertainment, etc).     I had the same issue in Chrome. Go to settings and go to Settings>Advanced>clear browsing history...>and clear the cache from the beginning of time. Then close Chrome. Open it again, go to vudu, and press ctrl+f5. That should clear everything out for you.

      I'm having the same problem now. All other services (apple tv, Netflix) work fine but I can't get Prometheus to play.

        Oh thank God it's not just me. I have been literally tearing my players, router, and ISP a new you know what, trying to troubleshoot this as a network issue, which now it seems it isn't. I ended up here out of a last resort kind of thing, but I too am getting the exact same message everyone else is reporting, the "unable to stream this movie at the moment due to a network error. Please try again a little later". Here is what I have done to troubleshoot this:

        Switched Blu-Ray players with my son, no effect. (mine is a Sony BDP-S580, his is a Vizio, current model)
        Reset router at least five times, no effect.
        Took my Blu-Ray player to work and tried it on my unfiltered Internet (Centurylink is the ISP) connection in my office, plugged up to my HDTV I have in there, no effect.
        Reset Blu-Ray player to factory settings, no effect.
        Called my ISP (Charter) and had them verify connection to my house.
        Did a bunch of Speedtest and Pingtests (all normal)

        So, I have tried it on two different network connections, on multiple players, and I simply can't get it to work. Really bummed that I spent $15 on something that I can't even watch. I've watched a couple of movies with the wife on Vudu before and NEVER had a problem, but this is the first one I have bought.

        Any ideas Vudu techs?

          Our apologies for the wait! Please give Prometheus a try when you have a moment. It should now be working with Oppo, Sony and Western Digital devices.

            Timing is everything, VUDU...

            Already been streaming without any effort with Apple TV.

            Maybe better testing with devices your product is licensed on BEFORE release would be appropriate next time

              Easier said than done considering the vast amount of devices Vudu is on. Lets not put Vudu against the wide world of Apple and their money bags.

                Although I'm an Apple fan, I try not to use their itunes store stuff if I can.

                That's why I tried VUDU for this early Prometheus release and it turned into a fail.

                Oppo isn't exactly a small player in the HD market. And if VUDU is going to have their app on these devices, they only hurt themselves if they don't do due diligence before marquis releases like this.

                If they drop the ball, it only hurts them next time. Can't say I'm eager to give them another go...
