No, your sort will not carry from one device to another.

We cannot sort on a computer browser - yet.

I love your "SORT BY RANK" idea (using our own personal ranking)

I also want to be able to create personal playlists. I would also like to be able to automatically play all files in my playlist.

      +1

I've been out of town so haven't gotten to see it but does it save whatever you select as your default for that player?

Yes, you can exit out of the app, and when you come back, it keeps the last setting.

          Thanks VUDU!

I would still like to be able to sort by genre, but I'll take what I can get...

I would love to be able to have the animated titles grouped together since my 9 yr-old uses Vudu every day, and I don't want him to have to scroll through my R-rated titles to get to his.

Anyway, thanks for getting the sort feature implemented and I look forward to watching an HDX title on my PC soon!

You can filter by genre, so that should help. It should also help with grouping your animated titles together for your 9 year old if you select the 'Family' genre or a rating of 'G' or 'PG or less".

Hmmm, I didn't remember seeing the "Genre" option. I'll go check. As for the "rating" sort feature, It only works to a point. I don't want my son to watch Jaws or Poltergeist, yet those movies are inexplicably rated PG.

On the other hand, there are som R-rated movies I've let my kids watch. Depends on the reason.

It'd be impossible to have a rating system that makes everyone happy. Are you suggesting the ability to self-rate movies? Maybe the ability to put certain movies behind a 4 digit code, set by you? That's not a bad idea. I bet it would make Vudu MILLIONS!!

Re: New sort feature has arrived!

The only thing that I don't like about the new filter option is that when you filter it actually removes every thing but the choice you have chosen. I guess that's what a filter is but if you forget to change it back you might wonder where all your movies went, but then again that would be a clue to change the filters back to all.

I COMPLETLY UNDERSTAND AND AGREE! This was another request that I made...to give us even more control over what movies can be watched. It would be nice if we could set a rating limit and then select any movies that are below that rating to require a password to watch. And we should be able to remove the restrictions on any individual movies that are above the rating so they can be watched without having to enter a password.

Perhaps in the future Vudu could implement a "Playlist" feature, or folders within the app, so that I could allow my 9 yr old access to movies that I select, and could segregate those movies into his playlist. Just something for them to consider for the future...

Very well put. Would love for my kids to just click on a folder and access all their movies that I might be able to add in there ?
