Re: The "Incorrect Aspect Ratio" Thread

Creature from the Black Lagoon OAR is 1.85:1, VUDU HDX is 4:3 stretched in width to 16:9. (HD is 4:3 with bars and not stretched).

Re: The "Incorrect Aspect Ratio" Thread

It's been a few weeks since I watched it on VUDU, but The Road Warrior was 1.78:1 instead of the proper 2.35:1 ratio.

The Road Warrior HDX copy was in 1.78:1 instead of the correct 2.35:1 aspect ratio when I watched it a few weeks ago.

The Ladies Man (2000) is incorrect.
Original Aspect Ratio is 1.85:1 and Vudu has it as 1.33:1

Add Kiss Kiss Bang Bang to the list. Another 2.35:1 title playing in 1.78:1.

Re: The "Incorrect Aspect Ratio" Thread

A lot of time has passed since this thread started.

Has ANY of the titles been corrected? Even one? I checked Raiders, Temple of Doom and Ben Hur and they are still the same incorrect files.

We can land a fleet of rovers on Mars but we can't get a corrected movie file. At least I still have my blu-ray discs for these films.

It has been a month, any update on a resolution for these movies.

I just bought the Indiana Jones package in HDX, found that Raiders was incorrect, and found this thread detailing the problem. It's too bad it has been a whole month since the Vudu representative said the problem was being fixed, and nothing has changed even for such a high-profile set of films. I felt like moving from physical media to streaming was going to be a step forward, but it seems now like a step back. Hopefully all of these titles are fixed soon.

A few of us were notified by a Vudu mod via private messages a week or two ago that work was being done on this. A post will probably be posted here when progress has been made.
