Indeed. Generally speaking I find Vudu customer service to be excellent. The aspect ratio thing is the one major failing. So few of these are ever fixed that I honestly feel that Vudu just doesn't give a crap. We're often told that it's the studio's fault, and I could buy that were it not for the fact that Vudu's competitors usually get them in the correct ratio. Why is Vudu the only Digital Movie provider that always gets stuck with the encodes of the incorrect ratio where are the others get the correct one? It doesn't add up.

The Mirror Crack'd (1980) is windowboxed with black bars on all 4 sides. The correct aspect ratio is 1.85:1.

Destry Rides Again (OAR: 1.33:1, Vudu: 1.78:1)

The HDX and SD versions are the incorrect aspect ratio. The 1.33:1 picture has been stretched to 1.78:1.

The HD version is the correct OAR (1.33:1)

I see that the Indiana Jones movies are on sale this week. Have they fixed the OAR yet?

Doesn't look it to me. It zooms in some after the intro for the first two movies (so that it looks like normal widescreen after, rather than the more wide widescreen in the intro)

But I figured the price was cheap enough to be worth it.

Batman v Superman Extended in UHD keeps cropping top and bottom every 2 minutes .
It is very irritating as it keeps changing all the time. HDX versions are OK UHD theatrical is also OK. The problem is at the extended edition. VUDU app in LG C6

We have found an issue with some DolbyVision movies on LG TVs - a new version will be published ASAP (within the next day or so).
