This isn't an issue of 'getting too big'. It's been this bad for a long time.

Vudu is so close to perfect, and these aspect ratio problems are a blemish on an otherwise excellent service.

        Wild Bunch (1969)

I just purchased the Wild Bunch. During the credits it has the correct aspect ratio. As soon as it passes the credits, it zooms in and has the incorrect aspect.

On those films, the HD version is the only version that you can watch (and the SD version). The HDX versions are just awful

I'm afraid they're going to take away the HD versions, and those films will only be able to be viewed in standard DEF because those HDXs are stretched so badly
It looks like they've removed the HD version for Invisible Man (at least, I can't choose it as an option). As noted above (but not in the first thread), Invisible Man is stretched in HDX version, but is correct in SD.

There are other movies where there is still an HD version available to choose from, so I'm not sure what's going on.

Hi, just found out that the Sinatra McQueen film, Never So Few is incorrectly displayed at 1.78:1, it is a CinemaScope picture and should be 2.35:1 as it is during the opening credits.

Just bought the series Quantum Leap while it was on sale. However, it is showing as a full screen on my HD tv, which it shouldn't as it was never shot in widescreen. It should be the older 4x3 aspect, not 16x9. I didn't see any tv series in the list, but I didn't go through every page of the post either, so if someone else already posted for this show, I apologize for posting it again.

I own this series and played multiple episodes, they all were shown in 4x3. Could you state which episode you tried that was widescreen.

                            I think he's saying it's 4:3 stretched to 16:9

I got this on the pilot episode, but I was watching it on my new smasung smart tv, when I changed to my Xbox, it went to the normal 4:3 that it should be. It wasn't stretched, it was zoomed in, I'm looking for the settings on this tv to see if I can find the one that caused that

The first two episodes of Quantum Leap Season 1, Genesis Part 1 and Part 2 are both zoomed in at 16:9 instead of 4:3 ratio. They play this way on every device I have tried including a Roku 3, a Tivo Roamio Pro, an iPhone 6s Plus and through the web. It appears these two episodes are the only ones formatted incorrectly.

It would be great if someone could look into this and fix these episodes. As far as I know these episodes are formatted correctly on every other streaming service.
