I just checked, and HDX is also in the correct aspect ratio.

Now for 300, The Wild Bunch, Where Eagles Dare, Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior, Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome, Kelly's Heroes, the list goes on...

I compared 300 on vudu, and compared it to other streaming services, the one on Vudu actually is NOT CROPPED. In fact, the image is ADDED. The black bars are taken away and we see the top and bottom of the image. Link your streaming services to Movies Anywhere, and view it there, and compare the two to see for yourself.

The Sandlot (OAR: 2.40:1, Vudu: 1.78:1)

          Fixed as of 8/11/2020

Big sleep trailer is 4:3 but is incorrectly cropped to wide-screen.

Nothing was "ADDED", the sides are cropped off. The bars BELONG there so you can see the wide image. That is why it is in this thread.

This is one that really needs to be fixed. COME ON VUDU.

If no one has brought it up yet, I noticed some time ago that "The Hustler" (1961) appears to have been fixed.
I am unsure if it is the full 2.34:1 OAR, but it is much wider than Vudu's previous pillarboxed 1.33:1

Is there any chance that someday these will be fixed? It's so annoying!

Does anyone know how up to date the original post is? I know the OP hasn’t posted in awhile. Curious to see if these are regularly being fixed or not

Since the opening post has not been updated, some titles have been fixed that have not been marked. There is also quite a few missing which are not in the correct aspect ratio.

One idea is to copy and paste the thread into a new post. Make the changes there and report new ones. It should be done by someone who can stay on top of it. This thread is what inspired me to do the Movies Available in HD on other Providers thread.

I’m basically just resigning myself to the fact that most of these will never get fixed, unfortunately.

Does anyone know if the aspect ratio for 300 is correct in UHD? Last I checked, HDX is still 1.78:1.

UHD is correct. HDX is still incorrect.
