    Hello Jessem,

I checked the account associated with your email address and didn't find any rentals. Could you send me a private message including the email address you used to rent so I can take a better look at your complaint? Did you have an incident number.

I disagree with you jessem. My experience is that the Vudu staff is actually friendly, extremely knowledgeable about the service, and willing to do everything possible to help resolve issues.

The only time I had a negative experience was at a Walmart store when the Photo Center staff did not know how to perform D2D properly.

Aside from that, Vudu customer service has been stellar.

Even better is enjoying Vudu's streaming HDX movies and TV shows. I couldn't ask for more.

Ummmm....actually I CAN! I only wish I could get someone from Vudu to make me some fresh hot popcorn while I watch a 1080p streaming file!!!!

I second this especially Dan H. who frequently visits the forums and is very willing to help out.

I also wouldn't mind extra butter on that popcorn when it gets made

From the 25+ support tickets I have submitted (1 is currently being worked on right now), I just wish that Vudu would STOP FIXING MY PROBLEMS SO DARN FAST AND EFFICIENTLY. I mean, half the time it doesn't even take 3 days to fix something, which is ridiculous! STOP FIXING MY ACCOUNT SO WELL!!! ARGH.

All joking aside, Vudu has a WONDERFUL and VERY HELPFUL customer service.

CinemaNow on the otherhand? Bought 12 movies on November 24th 2012... it is now February 27th 2013 (4 months and 3 days). Have they fixed my account? Nope... Have I talked to any supervisors about my account not working? Yes... 6 of them... Have they ATTEMPTED to fix my account? Lol, my initial problem was that my UV movies didn't link, and now they can't even REMOVE A MOVIE from my account.... FFS....

So if I accidentally buy a movie on Vudu, Vudu's reps say "opps! let me fix that!" and BAM it's fixed.

CinemaNow (and this is how they responded to me): *laughs* "Why would someone accidentally buy the wrong movie?".

Really? So I got all up in their face... "Maybe I wanted to buy Cape Fear 1991 and not Cape Fear 1967? Honest mistake, wouldn't you say?... Yeah.. that shut them up fast...

Vudu on the otherhand? They are ALWAYS nice to me and constantly update me with how my problems are going. I have NO PROBLEM spending my money with them.

Re: Vudu is unprofessional and rude to customers

I can understand where Jessem is coming from. We have dealt with Customer service two times that was not a great experience. The first time was when the D2D first got started. For some reason, when Wal-Mart typed in the email address, our account would not come up. It was some kind of "glitch" on VUDU's end. Hmmm, it took customer service like a month to fix the problem and that was with me or my husband having to call them every few days. It was finally fixed. Now, we tried to redeem movie credit codes on here. For some reason it would not take them. It kept saying we had reached our limit of 5 redemptions, even though we had only redeemed 3. So, I started a case. Lol. After a cpl of days with no response, I called them. The lady asked for a picture of the codes and said she would send it to the tech dept as soon as the pic got there. I said no problem, sent the pic. Called them back on Tuesday (when I talked to her it was Friday) and talked to a not so friendly guy. He informed me that the pic was never sent to tech, but he would do it right then. He also told me that phone calls take precedence over cases started online. Interesting. Waited and waited.....nothing. So I called again and finally spoke with a helpful person, Nick I think is his name. He talked to the correct dept and was told they would get right on it. Last response from VUDU was on the 13th. Today is the 27th.

My husband accidentally bought Godzilla on Cinemanow twice because of a website mess up. He contacted their support and they immediately removed the extra copy and not only gave us our money back, they sent a code for a free movie of our choice.
