Vudu list movies to sell, but does not allow conversion for such movie

I have possibly 200+ movies I would like to add to my cloud but vudu is not allowing the Disc to Digital conversion at this time for them; however, you can purchase and pay the FULL price on line if you want to. This really ****es me off bif time.

I can understand a lot of old movies not made their way to VUDU yet, but when I see a movie that you able to purchase, through VUDU, they should also alow disc to digital conversion for that same movie.

If for whatever reason Disc to Digital is no possible for licensing purposes, then VUDU should not be able to offer that same movie for sale. That is just total bull.

Please add your titles to the wishlist for UV/Disc to Digital. Maybe they will see it and add some titles. I wish they had a way we could tally votes for titles to add.

Very good ideas and points. I find this frustrating too.

As ludicrous as it sounds, to bad they didn't have VHS to Digital. It's not like they copy the media anyway and would (could) bring many new customers to digital.

Some studios will simply not participate in the D2D program. Feel free to contact the studios to voice your opinion about them not participating in D2D/Ultraviolet. Perhaps if enough consumers voice the same opinion, you can convince them otherwise. Not offering the same title for rent/purchase would also not be fair to those who wish to have that movie available to them. It's up to you whether or not you want to pay full price for a title or wait for it to become available for D2D (if it ever does) to complete your library.
