Don't install Vs. 2.1 Vudu Player App

I updated the Vudu Player application for iPad twice and each time after installing it, I get a "File not found" error when trying to open the application. I uninstalled it, and then re-installed Vs. 2.0 and it worked fine. After installing Vs. 2.1, the "File not found" error returns.

How did you install the older version? Mine is broken too.

After uninstalling vs. 2.1, go to your "Purchases" icon at the bottom of the iTunes application. You will find the older version (2.0) there that you can re-install.

I'm having the same issue with my iphone 5. I just uninstalled and purchased and didn't apply the update.

I got the "File not found" error on my 1st gen iPad after updating to 2.1, so I deleted it, reinstalled, and it works. (I just have to re-download all the movies I had already downloaded. )

It looked exactly the same to me...then I tapped "More". I don't remember seeing these before, but under More you now have a checkbox to enable Closed Captioning, and a status of how much storage space is being used by Vudu. If those were in v2.0, then it looks exactly the same, probably just bug fixes.

... and bug additions. I tried installing and uninstalling a couple of times and every time, I got the "File not found" error. I'm leary about installing again until the next version comes out.

Sorry, I should have specified: this is on a 1st gen iPad still running iOS 5.1.1.

Can anyone still running v2.0 tell me if those options are there under "More"? I'm curious now if there have been any UI changes, but I don't remember the last time I used "More" in this app.

I can't believe it's been all this time and they still haven't added sorting and parental controls to the App. Vudu is disappointing me more and more as time goes on. TargetTicket is only a month old and they already have functionality that vudu doesn't have. Vudu, still has the best availability and quality, but please step up your game! I really want vudu to be the best all around provider.
