The Fandango at Home Forums are designed to help viewers get the most out of their Fandango at Home experience. Here, Fandango at Home customers may post information, questions, ideas, etc. on the subject of Fandango at Home and Fandango at Home -related issues (home theater, entertainment, etc).       Assuming it's the same version / SKU in the mail that you buy in the store and that you get it within the return window. Possible moral & ethical discussion aside.

        They said their systems are delayed, if you get the pre order right off the bat, it usually doesn't show in their system until a week befor release. If you wait a week or so after pre orders come out, you'll get it in time. They told me this directly.

            You cannot return Vudu preorder physical copies to stores (or I suppose you could say YMMV). The ones shipped from Vudu are identical to the ones Walmart sells in-store (exclusives and all), but the Vudu copy comes with a sticker UPC which is different from the standard UPC. I suppose one could attempt to remove the sticker and return it then, but then you get into shady territory. Then you still have the possibility of being outside of the return window anyway, which at this rate will probably be the case when we finally receive these movies.

              Here is a crazy suggestion that could work
              I am guessing that White House Down was a low true preorder and one that really showed wrong numbers on how many redeemed per truly paid for.

              So Vudu should send out an email to all preorders saying those that send in a pic of their Walmart receipt for White House Down to (such and such email) get some thing say 4.99 of D2D or something.
              People love free stuff if their lucky the people who send in their receipts will match number sold
              flag all other as low life thief's and nuke their account.

              again this is a just a suggestion at this time.

                In next weeks Wal Mart ad, it shows Desp.Me 2, Fast and Furious 6 and The Wolverine pre-orders for $19.99, in the pic for Wolverine it shows it Phone Card style, hopefully when you buy it they have to swipe it thru the register like a itunes card to activate it and if so all pre orders should work this way, then they will stop the thieves.
