    Walmart VUDU Promotions

I went to Walmart yesterday to see if I could buy a couple of products that had VUDU promotions (I could buy movies for VUDU promotions or credits, but wanted to buy stuff that the household would buy/use anyway). So I bought 2 Cottonelle products and a Marketside Pizza. (I saw the Kleenex boxes that had $4 VUDU code but didn't buy them because it was more Kleenex than we really needed.)

    Well...Neither promotion worked.

On the pizza, there was a picture on the box that said there was a promo code inside, and that the exp was 9/2014 (9/14/14 I think, not sure). I opened the top and didn't see a code anywhere, but my son said maybe it was printed on the cardboard that the pizza was on (the pizza is wrapped with circle cardboard) to keep people from seeing/stealing the code. So we took it home and opened it up to eat. And the cardboard...was just cardboard. No code anywhere.

So I emailed VUDU support. (Incident: 140302-001154)

Then, I went and emailed a copy of the receipt for the Cottonelle products I bought as it says to do (to a company/address that is not VUDU or Walmart). Originally I'd had reservations about that promotion, that maybe it was some sort of spam scam on the internet, a way to get your email address. But when I physically went to Walmart, the same advertisement was right next to the product with the same directions, like coupons they sometimes stick on the shelf. Anyway, the expiration for that promotion was the end of this month.

So I emailed the receipt and within a few seconds, I was emailed back, that the promotion had ended.

So I emailed VUDU support again. (Incident: 140302-001219)

I am waiting for a response, but was just curious if anyone else had success with either of these two promotions. Guess I should have just bought the Kleenex or a couple of DVDs, would have been cheaper and less frustrating. Was just trying to buy stuff the household would use.

The Kleenex definitely works. What's odd is the the sticker is on the outside of the plastic not the inside so I'm lucky the code was still valid and no one stole it.

i have 2 of the walmart - kleenex $4 redemption codes but neither work; i received an "invalid code" message. offer ended today (4/30/2014). the codes were from boxes in a value-pack wrapped in plastic, so there was no way the codes could have been used.

I've had this same problem. I bought 3 of the pizzas and am having people over for a movie night with our son. Imagine my surprise when there wasn't a code inside. I've put in an support request. (141114-000615). We'll see what happens.

I'm assuming the code printed on the plastic is what I'm supposed to redeem as I didn't find anything else on the cardboard or inside of the box of Marketside Pizza I purchased yesterday. When I submitted the code, I received an invalid code response. I've submitted a ticket: #141123-000404.

I did that pizza deal a long time ago. It was printed on a separate piece of paper and laying inside on top of the pizza. Mine worked fine but I wonder how many people just walk by and open the boxes and walk off with the piece of paper....

I bought a pizza tonight from walmart and there is no code anywhere inside the box. It is printed on the outside of the box that it was a 5.00 vudu credit. This is my first time trying it so I was wondering if I'm not looking in the right place or what I can do to get a code? Thanks for any help.
