    Re: Newly Added Catalog Titles

Not all UV is D2D, but all D2D is UV. If the UV symbol shows up on both sites, it should port over. And Blu-ray.com lumps Digital Copy Plus in with UV because it doesn't have a different page for DC+, you'll know if Disney ever goes UV, but don't hold your breath waiting for it.

Is it safe for me to assume that if I do an HD D2D purchase with Flixter, It'll show up in my Vudu collection as HDX? Again, thanks for the help!
I converted The Master a while back via Flixster and it ported over to Vudu fine.

Thanks madmod. I got a dose of reality when I went to Flixter and realized they want $5 for BD D2D HD conversion

I won't be converting at that price...

If only doing a one-off, not much of a problem. When converting many, yes, that is way to much to spend for BD conversion.

Looks like it's already available to own - maybe they mean in HDX?

I'm personally more interested in Sugarland Express on Jan 1! Munich is coming on blu in Feb so we might be getting that as well...

My brother bought Always on his account that is linked to my UV locker and only the SD version comes through. Apparently, they have not activated the UV compatibility on the HD and HDX versions.

Steven Spielberg's Duel is now available.

Hey, Vudu, I know it's been asked before, but is there any way that you can do something to allow us to see newly added titles for purchase? I'm getting tired of doing searches for titles that I want like Road to Perdition or Young Frankenstein, just to see if they might have been added. It's just crazy to me that a store has new product to buy, but it is left up to the customers to actually figure out that it is available. Even if you could give us a wishlist function to be notified via email when titles we want become available, it would be a huge improvement.

Glad to see Duel available. I've been typing that one in the search box for a couple of years!

To Vudu: Ditto to what YankeeGator6 says! This has been a request from your die-hard Vudu forum movie lovers for a VERY LONG TIME!! Please reward us die-hards with this feature (plus many of the other often-requested features).

+1 on both counts! I actually discovered DUEL (and also Spielberg's THE SUGARLAND EXPRESS) was available last week from the iTunes "Movie Just Added" section, but decided to buy both here since they were UV enabled and I had some spare credit.

But really, VUDU should have its own version of this, don'tcha think...?

1941 and An American Tail: Fievel Goes West look to be new.

I can't speak for An American Tail, but I do know that 1941 has been there for months because it's been in my collection.

What aspect ratio is it in? It was made for tv, so it should be in 4:3
. The Blu-Ray presents it in 1.85:1 which cuts the image.

If it's not in 4:3, I'll stick with my standard Def DVD.

Don't forget to check the 2 minute preview. If you did, you would see it is 16x9

Speaking of Always, has it been updated to HD UV status yet? I'd like to get it, but not if it goes into my UV account as standard def when you buy HDX.
