Look, the "Recently Added" section is, as we keep pointing out, for catalog titles only. That's the way on all online video services organize things and that's the way we've requested Vudu do it for years to help us find the OLDER movies that has just become available SEPERATE from newer films. New releases can already be found on 1) the main page and 2) the Movies page. Finding them in a 3rd place just is not needed.

By my count, 385 new releases came out in this last week. Vudu, PLEASE don't listen to this suggestion that those should be combined with new catalog releases. Having to weed through that to find new catalog titles would negate what we had been requesting you do and you so kindly did.
The way we/I have requested for years is to have ONE PLACE to see EVERYTHING NEW added to Vudu sorted by the date it was added in descending order. New releases are not always listed in a manner that makes it easy to find either. The only new release I noticed last week was Star Wars. So I rest my case, I had not idea that there was another 384 movies for me to shop. If Vudu doesn't want to announce to the consumer when they have something new to sell, that is fine. But as a long time frustrated customer, I think it's a bad business practice not to properly advertise all new additions in a manner that makes it easy to find.

Also, when a new movie is added to Vudu...whether it's a new release or an older title from 1 year or 20 years ago...it's in their "catalog".

You can already see all new releases in one place. Click on Movies, and then sort by "Release Date"

It doesn't appear to be sorted in the exact order added to Vudu. I would expect to see all titles added TODAY first in the list, but that doesn't appear to be the case and that is my problem with displaying movies sorted by release date. Again, it seems that if Vudu is going to have a link that shows all new movies they have added I would expect to find them on the link that says RECENTLY ADDED FILMS. Instead, I don't know what that link is good for since it doesn't show new titles and now it shows titles that I think were added a while back. I am pretty sure that Wild Things was added a long time ago. And who the heck knows how the titles are sorted?

I will still find myself doing a search on movies that I am waiting on to be added because I do not trust that this link works.

The store front says "recently added films and TV".

All movies on Vudu are in their "catalog". So when Star Wars: The Force Awakens was added to Vudu and made available to purchase it was a recently added catalog film.

Also, there are movies that have been available for a while that just this afternoon appeared. Why would a title that was added back on 3/17 not show up until now? Why would a title that has been available for much longer appear today? And how are the freakin' titles sorted?

Vudu's arrangement of titles within their catalog, both old and new releases, have driven me crazy for years.

In an attempt to get this thread back on track, it appears that the original 70s Captain America is coming on 4/12. Only in SD at the moment

We Need to Talk About Kevin along with a handful of other Oscilloscope Pictures movies are now available.

Not all of these are new. I know that Fatal Beauty is a title that VUDU has had but it hasn't been available to purchase for a while. It is showing up in my wishlist again.

They are recently added or re-added titles, they disappeared from your wishlist because they haven't been available for purchase. So in essence, they are new.

MGM added a bunch of other titles including Antitrust, Double Trouble, Fled, Fluke and Johnny Be Good.
