    Post Moderation??

I own a large forum so I understand why SOME posts are moderated before allowing public view, but, are ALL posts moderated on this forum OR only until a member has a certain number of posts, etc.?

The reason why I ask is that I have posted twice, once just after the announcement of the XL2 (I posted my opinion of the one I had and it was all positive) and then on the 27th concerning my experiences with Vudu hogging 1/2 the available network bandwidth (this post has concerns, but also bragged about Vudu). Neither have ever posted and seem to not exist. I have not received an email or PM as to violating any rules, etc.

    So, what gives?

    Re: Post Moderation??

Well, apparently this thread was enough to make my other two posts now appear....must of gotten lost in the moderation queue! Now I feel a part of the forum!

    Thanks!

Your FIRST post is moderated (cuts down on spam and viagra). After that it's wide open for Vudu love and hate.

        Re: Post Moderation??

If your first post was approved by the Vudu staff moderators, your others should have shown up as well. Sometimes, Vbulletin's settings don't always take but most of the time, once the first post gets approved, you are good to go. Unfortunately, the moderation staff is also the customer service staff and they have been swamped lately.

We are sorry for your trouble.

Thanks for the compliment Rstone, because I'm the one laughing.

                Happy New Year!!

                Wikepedia:

"In societies where freedom of speech was not recognized as a right, the court jester - precisely because anything he said was by definition "a jest" and "the uttering of a fool" - could speak frankly on controversial issues[3] in a way in which anyone else would have been severely punished for, and monarchs understood the usefulness of having such a person at their side.[3] Still, even the jester was not entirely immune from punishment, and he needed to walk a thin line and exercise careful judgment in how far he might go - which required him to be far from a "fool" in the modern sense."

                  Re: Post Moderation??

Well I definitely didn't mean it in a derogatory way, as Court Jesters are nothing more than modern-day stand-up comedians, who enjoy making others laugh, sometimes at there own expense and just being jokesters, which seems to fit your personality, at least on these forums.
