Hobbit: Jouney & Hobbit: Smaug Both Missing From Owned

Both of my Hobbit Movies have disappeared from my Vudu owned. Both were previously added as UV Codes on Vudu. UV is still link enabled. LOTR is still there as well as all my other titles, it appears.

    ? ? ?

Where are you looking? I also own both, and I can see both on the Vudu website at http://www.vudu.com/movies/#my_vudu/my_movies, have you looked there? Are they 3D, and maybe you're looking for them on a device that can't display 3D? There are a few reasons like that that will cause them to not be displayed, IIRC.

          Hi Daniel,

I think I fixed it but it has raised another question.

I unlinked my UV and then relinked it and my movies jumped by about 75 titles, so there was obviously something out of sync.

I don't understand why some of the UV titles would drop (and then reappear) and not others; simply by relinking.

It also brings into question when a UV is redeemed on Vudu instead of elsewhere that it must have a valid link to UV to be visible? Is this to do with that you didn't buy it on Vudu, but simply redeemed on Vudu and ownership is maintained in the UV locker? Perhaps the 75 or so titles we're one's that were all the UV redeemed instead of pre-ordered or purchased though Vudu?

Is there a way to get a list of My Movies (asked elsewhere today) and have a flag if it's Vudu purchased, UV "purchased" (redeemed) and if Vudu purchased does it have UV rights?

The more complicated this all gets the more important it is to know (and maintain) where something resides from an ownership purpose and where viewing rights reside as well.

That is a really good feature request. Knowing if the movie is imported from your UV account or owned and exported via VUDU. Customer support can see this, but i agree that it would be nice to know as a customer.

Larger libraries can take some time to sync in some cases. Not sure if those imports or exports were pending or what..
