Shared UV Accounts not seeing all Vudu Movies

    Hello,

I recently joined a Shared UV account. When I log into my VUDU I see 90 movies. When another member of the group logs in she only sees 60. I bought some movies using D2D and VUDU to go. All the movies I bought show they are UV. Examples of the movies are: "The Green Mile", The Bourne Trilogy, and "Men in Black".

Are shared libraries a "one-way street"? Can I only see the library owners new additions and them not see mine? All of the movies I bought, don't show up in our shared UV account, but are on my VUDU. Also, some movies I had before don't show up in her VUDU like "The Lego Movie".

Any suggestions or am I understanding the whole shared account thing wrong?

    Thanks,
    Andrew

Re: Shared UV Accounts not seeing all Vudu Movies

You can only be linked to one UV account. So you are either sharing yours with someone else (and they can only see your UV titles) or the other person is sharing their account with you, (and you can only see their UV titles. You can't be logged into both UV accounts at the same time.

So when you share your collection, the other person can only see your collection, they are no longer linked to their UV collection, and vise versa

Sharing is not combining. I think that is where a lot of confusion can come into play.

If you are sharing your collection, did she alreay have a UV account linked to Vudu? If so, she would need to link your UV account, not hers.

There should be no difference in results on how users are added between doing it at UVVU.com or through Vudu, the end result should be the same. The discrepancy in movie numbers may be related to the hardware or platform of the user.

The person that can't play most of your movies has some type of issue that should not be related to sharing (but with UV, who knows for certain). If he can see them when he signs in to Vudu, he should be able to play them. What happens when he tries to play a movie, does he get any type of error message?

Can you sign in to his account on one of your devices and see what happens?
