Vudu Forum Guidelines

The Vudu Forums are designed to help viewers get the most out of their Vudu experience. Here, Vudu customers may post information, questions, ideas, etc. on the subject of Vudu and Vudu -related issues (home theater, entertainment, etc). Although the primary purpose of these forums is to help Vudu customers with questions and/or problems with their Vudu service, there are also off-topic areas available within the Vudu Forums for users to chat with like-minded people, subject to the limitations below.

Please post all comments in English. When posting a comment in the Vudu Forums, please conduct yourself in a respectful and civil manner. While we respect that you may feel strongly about an issue, please leave room for discussion.

Vudu reserves the right to refrain from posting and/or to remove user comments, including comments that contain any of the following:

1. Obscenities, defamatory language, discriminatory language, or other language not suitable for a public forum
2. Email addresses, phone numbers, links to websites, physical addresses or other forms of contact information
3. "Spam" content, references to other products, advertisements, or other offers
4. Spiteful or inflammatory comments about other users or their comments
5. Comments that may potentially violate the DMCA or any other applicable laws

    I have a chromecast, and the vudu app casted fine from my iphone before the update, now it doesn't. I've tried casting it from my tablet, and that still works, but my phone no longer has the option to cast. I've tried uninstalling both my vudu app and the chromecast app, and re-downloading them, but it hasn't fixed the problem. Any ideas on how to fix this to get it back to where it was?

    That is a bummer! Ya my phone doesn't have a problem casting to my tv, but my nook doesn't give the option and I have tried flixster as well and it doesn't cast either. My pandora cast just fine. I will wait and see what DanielH can find out. Hopefully he can shed some light onto this situation.

    I have the Nook HD+ tablet with the Chromecast app installed and the latest version of Vudu available in the Google Play app store. I can confirm that there is no cast option when playing a movie. Flixster also does not have the option.

    With the Chromecast app on the Nook I can see both of my Chromecasts and I am able to cast from Vudu from my iPhone and iPad without a problem.

    So I have a question...I just got the Chromecast and I have set it up and got it to work, but when I tried to cast a movie from my Vudu app on my Nook HD tablet, the cast button didn't appear. I uninstalled and re-installed about 4 times. The Vudu app worked perfectly from my Android Samsung S4 phone. Does it not work with the Nook HD tablet? or is there something I am missing? Any help would be great. Thank you
