When I pre-ordered Thor :The Dark World from Wal-Mart it came with like 7 or 8 special features.........I called Vudu but they didn't help me they told me to go back to Wal-Mart!?!? Wal-Mart employees no nothing about Vudu or let alone digital movies LOL. I see they have special features listed so why don't they show up with my movie?

I went to walmart to pick up the preorder today and they didn't have it even though had signs for it saying in today. gave me walmarts 800 number. they were no help and gave me vudus number. menu just put me in loop. So question im wondering if I buy thru vudu will they send me a physical copy like they do when preorder in store. or if I buy online at walmart preorder will I have to wait for digital code or will I get it right away then movie comes in mail.

I didn't know you can pick up your pre-order at a Walmart store. I thought it was through postal mail only, am I wrong?

Read the card carefully. I haven't yet, but as I understand it THIS card is good ONLY for Vudu; you do NOT get a physical copy in the mail (edit: or at Walmart either -- AFAIK those that DID come with physical copies were always fulfilled by mail). You buy the card at Walmart, then enter the code and redeem it on Vudu; you get your movie immediately on Vudu.

If you want the special features, buy the bundle that includes the special features from Vudu directly. Nearly all Walmart cards I've seen redeem for the movie ONLY.

One last thing: Technically it's NOT a "preorder"; Cap 2 is already released to Vudu & other streaming vendors. 9/9 is merely its Blu-ray & DVD release date, but apparently you do NOT get a physical copy so that doesn't really matter. The "early" aspect is you get to stream it on Vudu 3 weeks before its disc release; you get that whether you buy from Walmart, Vudu, or some other streaming vendor.

Unfortunately I do not have the card anymore, I toss them once I redeem them. But I also was waiting for a physical copy of Captain America. I called Vudu (before I found this forum here) and was told it was for a digital copy only. What a waste of $25!!! Since they started this pre-order thing at walmart, I've bought 6 pre-orders so far. Every other one, besides Captain America, has been both digital and physical copy. I kind of feel like that one was snaked on people. Who wants to spend $25 on a digital copy only? Not me!! But sadly I did, and trust me? It won?t happen again. I won?t be buying pre-orders anymore, and I won?t be renting or buying any other movies from them again.
