Harry Potter 8-Film 4K Code ... Only Redeeming HD at VUDU

This UHD UV code is only redeeming HD versions of the 8 films at VUDU. Please fix

My box set is arriving on Thursday and I would love to be able to redeem the codes directly on VUDU so I can compare the video quality of the movies. It would be great if VUDU could fix this.

I'm also waiting to redeem my code for this 4k boxset. Please fix.

Really wish this could please be fixed. It's a little ridiculous that it has to be this complicated to redeem a digital copy still.

I was about to post this same question, it would be nice to be able to redeem the UHD collection in Vudu.

I'd love to see this fix as my redemption only came in as HDX, not UHD.

To Vudu engineers, pretty sure marketing runs the show but it had be nice to see what quality and what we are getting before hitting confirm redemption button as you already know what quality redemption would be. It will save hassle to you in the long run.

Does anyone know if a fix is coming for this? When I go to MyUV.com with my redemption code, it says go to Vudu to redeem. But if it's still redeeming HD, it's pointless since I already own them in HD on Vudu.

The studio has designated HDX upon redemption for this collection.

Why would the studio give Vudu an inferior redemption option? It redeems on Warner Bros. All Access (Flixster) in UHD. But if we prefer to redeem in Vudu so our titles don't go missing on occasion with UV issues, we don't have the option? It just doesn't make sense that they'd allow individual codes to redeem UHD on Vudu, but not for those that bought the full UHD collection.

Yes. There must be a misunderstanding .

WB All Access redeems UHD for Single Harry Potter UHD Disc codes as well as UHD for the Harry Potter UHD Disc Collection.

Vudu redeems UHD for Single Harry Potter UHD Disc codes but only HD for the Harry Potter UHD Disc Collection?

If that is what the studio is saying there must be a communication issue somewhere along the chain. Can this be re-verified perhaps with a different source at the studio?

Those were my thoughts too. I don't see why Vudu would be excluded from the UHD collection redemption, if they are allowed the UHD individual redemptions. The code verifies as UHD, and redeems UHD if you redeem with Flixster. The issue is that consumers are directed to Vudu when entering code at MyUV.com. There has to be some confusion regarding this, maybe the person Vudu communicated with was talking about the collection with the extended versions of 1 and 2 (which are not UHD and not part of this collection)? There is a Vudu redemption page for a theatrical collection as linked in original topic post, which is where UHD redemption should be.

I could redeem at Flixster, but I'd rather not after prior UV issues of titles disappearing at times. Please Vudu, check again. On top of that, Vudu should ask the studio for rights to sell the bundle just like iTunes does, for those that prefer to buy it on Vudu. Vudu finally got the Seinfeld bundle, now please get the UHD theatrical collection of Harry Potter as a bundle for sale and redemption.

The studio allows UHD redemption for the collection, the code specifies that it is UHD, it works at Flixster and ports to Vudu for those that don't mind redeeming elsewhere. I believe there's some miscommunication or confusion with Vudu. There's no way that the studio allows for people to have UHD digital at Vudu if they buy just one or two of the films individually, but those that pay for the full UHD collection are only allowed HDX redemption rights at Vudu? No way.

Alright, so with this UV sharing change.... I'm worried about UV issues even more now. Another reason why many others and I would prefer to redeem on Vudu directly, and avoid relying on the UV system for porting a redemption to our Vudu accounts.
