I'm also looking at buying The Lego Movie. Is there any way to tell if the DVD version will give me SD, HD or HDX version on Vudu? Or must I buy the Blu-Ray version just to hope for HDX? I don't like using the Blu-Ray of my PS3 for movies, I'd rather ay for the DVD and Vudu/HDX combo, if possible...
From what I've read on other sites it's the same as normal. DVD=SD and Blu Ray=HDX. One person did mention getting an SD copy on a blu ray though.

So much for the insta part. It's been well over 24 hours since I ordered on walmart.com. The only email I've received lately is one from walmart reminding to complete the order....which of course was completed.

Online orders don't show up til they ship. Then it still took about 24 hours to get the email saying my digital copy was ready. You won't get anything til it ships though.

          Re: Vudu Insta Watch

Has anyone gotten a pleasant surprise using the Walmart Savings Catcher app to add your purchased movies onto the library? I purchased The Fockers ($10) and Home Alone ($13) DVD bundles and each bundle stated that only one movie in the bundle is available for digital. After using the app to scan my receipt, I received an email showing the entire bundle.

Does the Savingscatcher app automatically associate with your VUDU account if they use the same email address? I've entered a couple of different receipts over 72 hours ago and the InstaWatch copies have not shown up at all in my VUDU account. It seems to have been linked when I log-in over at Walmart.com, I can see my VUDU library from there. The two accounts were created separately, despite using the same email address. I dread having to possibly deal with VUDU's support staff every time I buy a Blu-ray at Walmart.

You may have created a separate account from your main VUDU account. Send me a private message including your email address. I'll see if i can help.

I'm wondering if maybe they are having more issues now. I have an online order that shipped on Monday and still nothing. They were all movies with banner on them.

When I placed my order yesterday, none of the movies had a banner. Absolutely none of them at all.

                    Re: Vudu Insta Watch

I purchased a few titles from walmart.com from the instawatch category of titles including Rounders and Indiana Jones. I haven't received a single title on my vudu account and I have opened up a ticket with VUDU about it. They will respond to me in 3-5 days from Monday, so by Saturday I should have a response. It's massively disappointing that titles ordered from Walmart.com are not instantaneous additions.

i bought the leprecahn multipack bluray and a few other multi packs at walmart and scanned the receipt before i left the store the movies were in my vudu account within seconds of hitting enter. it seems that even if the redemption on the dvd package would be for only one movie like the multi pack for Knowing and Push only has a redemption in it for Knowing you get both from instawatch. the ablity to get movies from MGM and Indianna Jones makes me a believer as well. My warning is to anyone that has a Mirror Vudu account attached to their walmart.com account be very carefull about asking vudu to merge it with your regular vudu account. it took them 2 days to fix my account after they did.

So it seems like some people are having great luck and other (raises hand) are not having any luck. I'm still waiting for my online order that shipped Monday to hit my account and my last in store purchase took 48 hours. Crazy. What's the difference. Why are some people getting instant movies and other like me can't get in store or online orders to add in reasonable times? I put in a support request through walmart for my online order. Seems like there is an issue with it since all movies were eligible but nothing ever happened with the order.

I have separate accounts for walmart and Vudu, but they both use the same email address. What is your setup?

I even got Underworld Awakening from the $5 DVD bin (usually those have no UV codes) added via instawatch although the other $5 DVDs I purchased were not so lucky. I hope Walmart isn't just adding these extras temporarily and will remove them later. I can see these movies show up in my CinemaNow library too, but for some odd reason on www.uvvu.com they're not listed.
