Vudu has a new logo up in the upper left hand corner of the screen.

I fear change. I'm frightened and confused.

It's fine, but I think I liked the old logo better. THe old one was more stylized where as the new one is kind of plain and blocky.

But hey, it's just a logo

Re: Vudu has a new logo up in the upper left hand corner of the screen.

I actually had to look up the old one to compare. :-)

I think the new one is much eaiser to read, especially for someone who has never heard of Vudu before. I also like the way the logo looks on your avatar Daniel, better than the logo on the top left of this page. It is very sleek and modern. I do like the old blue color though. I think depening on the background, like your avatar, the white will pop and be more noticable. The more I look at the old logo, I see that I don't really care for it as much. I mean, I know what it is, but as I stated, the new logo will be easier to read for everyone.

I also think (if your avatar is going to be a standard format of the logo) that bringing Movies and TV above the name is a good change. I think more people will read that part first and hopefully be drawn to the product. Now, they will still see VUDU as it is larger, but with the Movies and TV being on top, I think more poeple will read it then before.

Again, I really like the logo on your avatar. I can picture that in place of the old logo on a DVD/bluray, and I know it will stand out more. It's lighter, and brighter. Should be more noticable on displays as well. Crisp and clean.

I for one, like changes. Give me updates, features and additions.

I like the new logo a lot, I think it looks best white on a dark background though. Blue and Black is sort of part of the Vudu "brand" in my mind.

I prefer the old Vudu logo better the new one is to Walmarty and watered down. The new Vudu logo obviously uses the WM colors and appears to use the same font as the Walmart logo.

              Prefer the old one.

New one is boring and sterile. No offense to whoever designed it.

I know the world seems to be going back to FLAT interfaces but It's just so "Generic Logo Insert Here"

Geez, you can't just throw images like that around without some kind of warning! I almost threw my laptop across the room. I probably would have if I hadn't already had a good beer in my other hand!

Really?! That's a logo? I hope they did not pay a Ad Design company for that generic logo. Hate it! Really hate it.

I like it. It's more modern and sleek. VUDU's interface is due for an overhaul, hope this is the first step.

There is a new Vudu user interface rolling out soon.

We're always making improvements to VUDU, but beginning October 2014, we'll be rolling out a substantial service update for living room devices such as smart TVs, set top boxes and game consoles. The update will include a redesigned and improved user experience with new features that make discovering and watching movies at home even easier.

The update will initially be available only for a select number of users and for select devices. Keep an eye out on VUDU for the latest news.

How do I get the VUDU user interface update?

We're glad you're interested. The update will be pushed to living room devices like game consoles, smart TVs, set-top boxes and internet-connected blu-ray players beginning October 2014. To ensure a smooth transition in the VUDU experience, at first only a select number of individuals and select devices will receive the update. To stay notified of when your account and device will be eligible, make sure you are subscribed to the VUDU newsletter.

I really wish they'd update the Iphone app, too. I wish you could search and sort titles. Right now, the app is semi-useless. You can't find anything.

Agreed. The iPad app is the same - useless!

If you have a Sony PS3 you may have already received the update.

Old one was awesome sauce covered in awesome sauce. All you had to do in switch it to white and it would also look great on the blue background for Walmart integration.
