Edit: However, they may have intentionally chosen a 3D movie to highlight the fact that Disney 3D movies at Vudu are apparently being included in DMA integration. Though most of Disney's 3D titles at Vudu are now in 2D/3D bundles and the 3D versions are no longer buyable directly (there are exceptions), the 3D versions have DMA icons just like the 2D versions. (Also, Meet the Robinsons was not sold in a DC-eligible version -- even the 3D version omitted DC -- thus it'll be the first DMA freebie I'll actually get free; I already have DCs of The Incredibles, Wreck-It Ralph, and even The Princess and the Frog.)
3D movies are being included? So if I redeemed DMR points for a 3D movie, I will have that movie available through Vudu in 3D? Really? This is great news if this is the case.

Hopefully Meet the Robinsons is the title (3D or not)... finally one that I don't already have, as none of the physical releases came with a digital copy code. I'd be happy with that one, or Ratatouille, or Iron Man, or even Chicken Little!

Ha! Iron Man or Ratatouille would be ideal...The only Marvel movie I need and my most wanted Pixar film...both of which have no codes available (that I'm aware of)...so it would never happen!

I'm curious to see how many DMA accounts can be linked to a single Vudu account. I wonder because I have a very close family member who has a separate DMA account, but we share the same Vudu account. I am hoping we can both link our DMA accounts to the same Vudu account.

It looks like you'll be able to link one DMA account to one account each of Google Play, Vudu and iTunes.

Any theoreis as to how this rumored DMA D2D may work? Would it just be integrated into vudu's D2D?

Re: Is Disney coming out with a bunch more Digital Copy Plus codes

Highly doubtful that Disney will soon offer d2d as Disney is very greedy. If you notice Disney will not be Ultraviolet either just Vudu enabled so your linked members won't be able to watch your Disney movies either. It would be awesome if Disney allowed D2D but yeah at this point that seems like a dream in Neverland.

leaves out the smaller UV players, is the problem with their strategy.

Yes, I was looking through the DMA faq section and the language did seem to indicate that.

So will ability to link DMA to VUDU essentially eliminate the utility of Apple TV?

Oh, Yeah! That's a really fun one.

And They Might Be Giants do a great cover of the Sherman Bros song, 'There's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow' (From Carousel of Progress)

That's funny! I kind of HATE Ratatouille. It's easily my least favorite Pixar film by a lot. So the funny part is, the other day my wife said, "I wonder if Vudu will offer a free movie when they go 'DMA' like Itunes and Google each did." I replied, "With my luck it'll probably be Ratatouille."

I'd be thrilled with Iron Man. And Meet the Robinsons would make me happy, too.

Yeah, it's definitely not my favorite, but I have digital copies of everything except that, A Bug's Life and the two Cars movies. It ranks somewhere around there in my ranking of Pixar films, but I do really like it. It's one of those that gets better every time I watch it.
