Purchased Maleficent yesterday and it included the 2d and 3d version but not anymore?

Why did you folks chose to take away my purchase of the 3d version of Maleficent? I paid in good faith for it as it was discounted and now you have taken the 3d away. NOT fair or good business practice. IF that was the case, and I buy a lot of movies from VUDU, I would have just bought the Blu-ray for 19.99 at Walmart and used the digital copy.

I see now you are charging more money for the combo. I purchased the combo yesterday and it stated 3d was included. If this was a mistake you should have let us know by email or something. I would appreciate getting the 3d back.

I agree. That was a really lame thing for Vudu to do. The bundle was clearly listed for $19.99, and now Vudu is backing out on that. This certainly doesn't boost my trust that Vudu will do the right thing. I'm pretty sure Amazon would have honored it's pricing in the same situation. Definitely not cool.

Actually, I paid 22.95 + tax for the bundle yesterday and hope that VUDU will honor the purchase still.

Agreed - I purchased this yesterday in good faith and verified my 3D purchase was there and today it is gone. No notification or nothing. This is not good business. I sent off an email this morning asking them to fix this but haven't heard back.

No, it should not have been just taken away, that is truly wrong. As I see it, and from experience, there were two options.

          1. Leave it alone, chalk it up to a error, and a benefit to the customer.
          2. Refund the full purchase and inform the customer by email. Vudu could have even gone above and beyond an offered a $4.99 credit towards the Maleficient 3D bundle, or make it valid on anything.

**Price mistakes happen a lot online. Sometimes retailers honor them, but most of the time they don't.

Well here is what is going to happen. I just got done with my Maleficent issue. They will do one of two things:

            1. refund your purchase and remove the title
            2. give you a credit and you keep the purchase

BUT you will NOT get to keep the 3d version without purchasing it again. I took the refund and repurchased at the higher price because they said Disney would not allow it. So if you get to keep your original purchase and get the 3d good for you. but don't count on it.

Hi Dan - my case ID is 141105-000020.

I already owned Maleficent and only purchased this for the 3D so would appreciate either a refund of $19.99 or a refund of $19.99 in Vudu credits.

                Thank you.

Ugh, was wondering why the 3D was messed up last night and then completely missing tonight. Not cool. Never heard back to my e-mail to support either.

                      Hi DanielH,

I, too purchased Maleficent on November 4, 2014. It's sad that Vudu won't honor the bundle nor notify their customers that they (Vudu) removed the 3D version from their Vudu library. I understand that it was an error on Vudu's part. However, if it was the other way around, I'm pretty sure Vudu wouldn't be a happy customer. If it wasn't for this forum, I wouldn't have known about this until this weekend when I would've watched the movie in 3D.

Listed below, you will find my incident number regarding this issue:

Upon contacting support and asking about a fix I was told that they will not honor the price and restore my 3D version without the upcharge.

                            Add me to the list.

This does seem to me an odd way to go about things. Most companies would just cancel the orders and issue a refund. Not take part of the order back and keep the money.

Edit: my issue was resolved through support.

I sent in a complaint after buying the bundle for my daughter as a birthday gift to only discover the 3D signal was coming in active shutter style with a double picture . Havent heard anything but I did noticed the 3D copy was removed from my library and I am a very good VUDU customer
