I hope that's a promise. Also would be lovely to see a hardware revision with a less cartoony remote.

Any chance of getting a list of recently viewed videos that we can resume?

My daughter is quite happy to have Vudu in her room via the *free* Vudu Spark. She didn't complain about the remote, the interface, the lack of YouTube, or anything. Once I straighten out her complacency, I'll let her join the forums here. She'll never fit in otherwise.

Still trying to find in the small print. Does the $5 credits apply to new and EXISTING customers both ?

I'm an existing customer, and I already got a $5 credit for each of the 2 Sparks I bought ($10 total).

I bought a "Spark" yesterday on 12/27/14. I don't know why Walmart would not have put them out before Christmas as they would make great gifts. It was easy to setup except for the login because I have a long password both upper and lower case. The credits were easy to get because once you set it up, I got an email with a link for the first $5.00 credit and the other four are supposed to happen automatically by my getting another email each month. Very happy with it.

Anyone else having trouble with the video playback? Ill start watching a movie and for some reason it stops. I cant back out or go to the main menu, its frozen. I have waited to see if it will start playing again, but to no avail, no luck.

Also, the remote is laggy. Anyone experiencing this problems?

I got one off eBay today for $21 delivered.

There's been quite a few people selling them and with $25 in credits I'm making money buying one.

Have anyone ACTUALLY seen it on Walmart.com though. Vudu's website says available only at Walmart stores AND website, but no where to be found. That's got to be ****ing off some people that don't have a local store or prefer to shop online.

No, but I bought it at my local Walmart where I had to ask where it was because it was not near the Chromecast. It was actually on the same shelves as some blu-ray movies. I told the sales associate that I never would have guessed them being there.

His suggestion isn't late. It can be done with a software update in the future. Vudu "used" to non competing services as "apps" within the Vudu app. Never know what might come back.

At this price point it really doesn't matter but I can see where it could be good to get more people to buy it instead of something else for $20 more that does more.

At $25 with $25 in credits it's killer, but I'm only buying it for the credits. I'll still use my Oppo or Roku as the interface is faster, and the Oppo supports the Vudu 3D as well.

Thanks for explaining the software update thingie.

You're spending $25 on the Spark to get $25 in credits? Why? What's the tax rate in the county where you live? Sounds like a net loss to me.

Bought new ones off eBay for $21 shipped. So that's $4 profit. But I'm not going to keep one, perhaps both so if I sell them for $10 or $15 it's still profitable.

I think I'd rather get one for a net price of free than buy a pre-bought one for $10-15 with no warranty. I'm sure you'll find some sucker out there, though. Hopefully the credits are still available on your used Sparks.

Is there 2 offers for the Spark? A $20 and a $25 one? This pic from eBay. The $25 offer is $5 each month for 5 months. How is the $20 credit added? Thanks.

The box says $20, but you'll get 5 $5 credits.
