    Re: New mobile app

Love the improvements made to the app. The extremely responsive searching and sorting are absolutely fantastic.

I notice there is a Download Quality setting in the settings menu. Right now it did not seem to have any effect that I could discern. Is this a hint that HD may be available in the future? This is the one thing still really tying me to using iTunes downloads when I am traveling.

Also, as noted, the TV season groupings need work and the feature/episode info pages could use some expanded info (Rotten Tomatoes, Cast/Crew info, etc), but this overhaul has made a great first impression. I will just be so excited if you guys can finally crack the HD downloads, please let this be coming soon!

If would be nice if in the next upgrade it was set to ignore the words 'A' and 'The' when alphabetizing.

Again, a minor complaint in what is otherwise a huge improvement over the old app!
    +1.

I have the iPhone 5 and it is also very responsive and zippy. Search results come up immediately while still typing. Sorts happen immediately.

I agree, love the new version as it is a huge improvement. I've been waiting for a long time for the alpha sort.

Definitely an improvement, but My TV is not displaying any bundled seasons (I have bundled seasons of Arrested Development, Breaking Bad and Lost that are not displaying anywhere in the app). I hope they get this fixed soon.

Looks like any uv redeemed outside vudu gets the episodes scattered around.

Definitely an improvement. I like being able to search for titles and every added sort is a good thing for me.

While I like that there is a short movie overview, it would have been nice to also see the Rotten Tomatoes rating, if not access to reviews (similar to main site).

yeah, just to be able to search for a title instead of scrolling through and trying to remember the purchase date is a big improvement. Sorting is nice too and it seems to be less of a drag on the resources of the device.

Oh yeah, that TV shows episodes listed by themselves and not under a season folder bug is obnoxious.

    But otherwise great improvement.
