Re: Walmart's Vudu Joins Disney Movies Anywhere

also would be nice to get more pts for buying 3D Disney movies something a little extra considering we pay $35 for a movie

    200pts for 3D
    150pts for HDX/HD
    100pts for SD

its the same deal that is offered if you buy it on Disc. I've already put my complaint into Disney everyone please do the same, the more people complain the faster things get accommodated

I own the 3D version and have had a problem since day 1 (11/18) with that movie transferring. Been back and forth with support and Disney. Disney has made it clear it is on VUDU not them. (this much time to correct it is totally unacceptable)
I sent messages to moderators have gotten zero responses was told before Thanksgiving it would be corrected 12/4 still not fixed.

Would be nice to if vudu would price match itunes or google play for Disney Christmas movies which are on sale for 12.99 HD nothing but coal in the stocking's for us
Tron Legacy transferred for me fine.
You aren't expecting to get the 3D version are you? The regular version should transfer over without problems, have you tried unlinking and relinking your Vudu account to DMA, I imagine they had you try that.
Is Tron Legacy in your linked iTunes or Google play accounts and you do see it listed in your DMA collection?

if you buy them on itunes they will transfer over to vudu so the 12.99 price would still get you the movies in vudu

Tron Legacy not appearing and came from my Itunes account which transferred fine to Google

Tron Legacy 3D is in my account already before the DMA link.

sorry if their was any confusion

I have unlink/relink spoke to everyone on Disney's end they changed the point of directions for me as well to show it comes from DMA still nothing . It appears in my Balance history 11/18 meaning it should have been in there.

I think it's a glitch(same file name on server) and it thinks is in there already. (program exp)

This should be a simple fix either put it in manually or change my 3D to the bundle version 3D/2D(same price) or pull out the 3D refresh then put back the 3D.

So you bought Tron Legacy 3D through Vudu and then have the 2D version coming from DMA via iTunes? That may be why there's a problem. Keep us posted.

why? itunes to dma to google play worked fine so that means that everything is linking properly plus it shows vudu in the link as well it is just not putting the file in my library

I'm willing to bet that the system is confused -- there's some kind of bug. Basically your Tron 3D purchase from Vudu transferred from Vudu to DMA and is superseding the 2D version coming from iTunes in the DMA account. When you bought Tron 3D, did you buy the one that's 2D/3D + Bonus Features http://www.vudu.com/movies/#!content...cy-2D3D-Bundle or did you buy the 3D only one http://www.vudu.com/movies/#!content...Tron-Legacy-3D ??? Maybe something was messed up when Vudu started making the 3D versions only available for purchase through bundles when before you could order them outside the bundle. When you see a free-standing 3D movie, they are usually only available for rental now.

True, but there is one small complication: While the DMA app, iTunes and (for a handful of titles, mainly Toy Story of Terror) Google Play will give you extras no matter where you buy, as a rule Vudu will only give you extras if you bought the movie as a "with bonus features" bundle at Vudu, or in some cases if you redeemed the code at Vudu. Edit: May not matter to some (especially with the DMA app), but it matters if you want the extras in Vudu.

yeah that's what I've been telling them. I think it had the same file name on the server because somewhere one should say
Tron Legacy 3D HDX.mp4 and the other Tron Legacy HDX.mp4 your talking to someone who came from xbmc/plex

no I had the 3D months before the 3d/2d bundle was offered , if not I would have gotten the bundle and I would have never known about this bug

I saw someone mention that if DMA were to cease operation or end it's partnership, the movies we unlocked from other retailers in our VUDU accounts would stay in our vudu accounts. Is this correct? For example, if I buy a movie in iTunes and it unlocks in my vudu collection, would it remain in my vudu collection of DMA went out of business?

According to the DMA terms unlinking your accounts won't remove the movies from your library at the retailers or DMA. So it would be safe to say if DMA ceased operation the movies already added to your library would stay.
