When they finally added UV rights all my episodes ported over just fine, but I still have the option to buy the season from Vudu. This should not be happening. I share my account with family members and it's confusing when it shows up under "My TV" with the option to buy it. I would like to avoid anyone accidentally re-purchasing it.

The solution is simple, when someone owns every episode from a season of any show, remove the season purchase option and mark it as owned. How hard is that?!

I 2nd this / I have multiple seasons that show I do not own them - How hard can it be to fix this?

Glad to see they are taking time to update the website. There are a few things that stuck out to me right away that I hope get cleaned up a bit. One thing is when viewing/searching by an actor or director, presently, all the films they worked on seem to be in no discernible order. prior to the update it would be sorted chronologically, now that is not the case. I would like to see a filter option appear in these instances so I could choose to sort by, 'popular' or by 'release date', etc. I do appreciate the idea of enlarging text like site's search box. I do feel that with the redesign some parts of movie pages are a bit harder to read. the description fields like 'more info' seems smaller and the avg. user star rating could use a size readjustment to make it a bit more legible.

With that said, there are numerous features that have been lost in the shuffle that I and others hope will be put back in place:
        • UV/MA eligibility is not visible upon hover like it was before, there is room for this in the title icon and it needs to be restored
        • Recent additions sort has been removed from Movies. This was a valuable feature and again, needs to be restored
        • "Collections" has been removed or severely reduced (I see "Horror" and "Kids Zone" Storefronts, but not the rest) I regularly used the "Independent Cinema" collection, and now this and many others have been omitted
        • Individual TV episodes no longer display UV status. Please restore
        • Audio Information for TV shows is missing, can this be restored?
Hopefully this new code is more conducive to adding features that your customers have been requesting for nearly a decade:
        • A User Folder similar to the Watchlist for "View Later" or "Saved Movies" where titles can be added and/or arranged for later browsing and viewing. Most other services provide this
        • Ability to search for titles that are owned, but no longer offered for sale. The inability to find something you have purchased unless you remember every title you own is a royal pain for those with large libraries
        • How about adding a few more studios to the filter function, "Other Studios" covers far too many. HBO, Magnolia, IFC, A24, Relativity, Criterion Collection come to mind
        • Ability to sort owned titles by resolution (SD, HDX, UHD)
        • Add "Start From Beginning" option
        • Wishlist sorting
        • Add a search function to "Balance & History" page
If anyone has noticed any previous features that were removed, or features that need to be added please comment below & make your opinions known to Vudu's Team!
I completely agree with the above.

        These are huge problems.

I'm not even worried about them adding new features, but for goodness' sakes don't take away features we already had.

Not happy at all and this how companies lose customers.

It's a shame that in this rewrite of the interface that they didn't adapt for high-res monitors. They are still only using about ⅓ of my screen which still makes the user interface look out-dated.

.. if you look up in the URL while your switching between the filters you'll see that they kept the URL links pretty simple ...... just took a guess at what they named the filter and that was it.... hopefully they add it back in to make it easier...

for instance if you wanted to look at the "Recently Added" "Scifi" movies ... it would look like this... " https://www.vudu.com/content/movies/...ntly%2520Added "

Sad that we have to figure this out and they can't do it for us.

What's sad is the fact that this thread gets pushed to the third page without an acknowledgement from a representative from Vudu that these are issues. I guess we're all supposed to be happy that we have a prettier interface with less functionality. Do we have to wait another 10 years for these matters to be addressed?

If your going to make some changes, how about adding PASTE ability back where the title entry is. I'm not the fastest typist on here and It really is an inconvenience having to re-type every title working off of my already typed out D2D spread sheets. This is very time consuming and quite irritating, what is the big deal anyways?

you can get around that by typing one letter into the box.... then just highlight that and you can paste into it...

Why do I feel like this doesn't work as it used to? It seems like nothing much new is being added.

                              1) I too miss the ability to sort All Movies by "Recently Added."

                              2) The new interface still lacks the ability to search your own library, which is a MUST. You can do it on the mobile app, you should be able to do it on the site. And the TV app, for that matter.

                              3) When a TV season ports from another retailer (FandangoNow, etc), Vudu shows that you own the episodes, but not the season itself, which is very confusing and annoying. Please make it to where if someone owns all of the episodes of a season, they own the season.

                              4) Please add more studios to the filter function. "Other Studios" includes way too many. HBO, Criterion Collection, etc.

                              5) Please add a "Start From the Beginning" option when playing a title that has already been started

                              6) Please add sorting options to the Wishlist

                              7) Please please PLEASE add a search function to the Balance and History page
