Please add a redemption for Prince of Persia

The blu ray came with a digital copy code when it was released. those codes can now be used for DMA. You have redemption tabs for movies such as Pirates of the Caribbean On Stranger Tides, and John Carter. Could You please add one for Prince Of Persia?

Here's the way this goes. Go to this site http://www.disneydigitalcopy.com/movies.html

Any movie that's above Oz The Great and Powerful on that site is redeemable through Vudu, iTunes, or at the Digital Copy + site. Anything released prior to Oz The Great and Powerful (anything that's below it on the list that has a picture of a disc on it) is not redeemable through Vudu or the Digital Copy + site. Any of those movies that were released prior to Oz the Great and Powerful, and were advertised as coming with a Digital Copy, can be redeemed through iTunes. You will also notice that you will already have the digital copy of any Disney movie that came with a digital copy if you entered your points at the Disney Movie Rewards site. If you bought any Disney movie that was not advertised as coming with a digital copy, then the DMR code will not give you a digital copy.

But there are areas to redeem codes on vudu for Pirates 4, Tron legacy, and Bugs Life. All of those came out before Oz The Great and The Powerful.

I know Vudu has links that say "Redeem", but they will not work with any of the codes that were released for those movies. My question, do you actually have a code for Prince of Persia? If you do, why not redeem it through iTunes or through the DMR site? The movie will transfer through to Vudu in the end.

Have you tried or know anyone who has tried to use one of them? They were added with DMA and didn't exist before then.

Yes I have tried them -- I know for a fact they will not work. If you need help redeeming through iTunes (and you have a code) I can help you with that.

Thanks for the help. I was just holding out hope for VUDU. I like redeeming everything through VUDU so I can access it even if uv connections are broken.

What sucks for me is in June I bought 18 Disney Blurays and all but four added to DMA but Cars, Ratatouille, the Princess and the frog and Meet the Robinsons did not even though they were the bundle packs or the 3D versions and I thought they came with digital copies and I redeemed all the codes for the 18 Blurays on the same day but never really checked the titles on DMA till yesterday when I noticed only 14 movies transferred over to Vudu. Even though the Disney points show the titles as 3D or bundle packs, Disney refuses to just give me the digital rights to those four movies even though I explained to CS that I specifically paid for the bundle packs and 3D versions as I thought they came with the digital copy but according to Disney those four did not. I said why would Toy Story 3D 1-3 come with a digital copy but Meet The Robinsons 3D did not even though purchased on the same day. Same with the bundle packs as I thought once I redeemed the code it would be placed in DMA but to Disney a bundle pack is just the Bluray and DVD for some bundle packs and Bluray, DVD and digital copy for others. I said if I knew that I would've just bought the Bluray and saved the money but once again Disney could care less.

Meet the Robinsons 3D and Ratatouille did not come with digital copies so that's why you didn't get those. There are different versions of Cars and The Princess and the Frog that were released and some came with Digital Copies and others did not.

That makes sense if DMA or UV ever disconnected from Vudu.

If DMA is unlinked or disconnected from VUDU the movies will still be viewable in VUDU. This is one advantage of DMA over UV.

DMA and Vudu are not linked by UV and by the terms DMA movies are supposed to stay in DMA even if the link is broken, but I have not tested this latter part.

Yeah but when you buy the bundle packs you assume it comes with the digital code same with 3D versions as most do. Seems odd to release a version with and without but yet charge the same amount.

Unfortunately, you need to look at what is advertised on the packaging. If it says that it comes with a digital copy, then the DMR code will give a digital copy through DMA. If it does not advertise a digital copy such as the following versions of the movies you listed:

                              Meet the Robinsons 3D http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Meet-t...Blu-ray/19477/

                              Cars http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Cars-Blu-ray/19674/

                              Ratatouille http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Ratatouille-Blu-ray/549/ ; http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Ratato...Blu-ray/22755/

The Princess and the Frog http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/The-Pr...-Blu-ray/9443/

then please understand why they are not there. Out of the four movies you mentioned, only two of them had other releases -- in different packaging -- that came with digital copies.

                              Cars 3D http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Cars-3D-Blu-ray/78419/

The Princess and the Frog http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/The-Pr...-Blu-ray/8760/

because you did not buy those versions, you did not get the digital copy.
