    Instawatch and Black Friday titles

I purchased 5 movies in-store that are all Instawatch but, as they're black friday titles, I'm worried that i won't get the Instawatch copies. Anyone else know? They ring up as generic "Movie" at $3.96.

I'd be curious how your in store purchase plays out. I noticed most if not all of the titles on Walmart.com are listed as not in stock as of early this morning. Kind of hard to purchase any titles when none of them are available to order.

Well all 3 Indian Jones movies and Titanic in store don't give an IW copy. And Enemies Closer, Pitch Black and Riddick all gave me SD instead of HDX since I bought blu rays. Is there anything that I can do to get the HDX copies of those?

They're not in stock because this was an "in-store only" offer. They weren't available online.

Why would the in-store versions NOT give it to you when the online ones do? Plus, there are lots of people that have purchased in store and gotten IW. So I'm confused by your response.

All the Indiana Jones movies have the "InstaWatch" tag and so does Titanic. So someone needs to fix something to make it happen.

The BF BDs have special UPC stickers on them (different stickered UPC from what someone else had reported). So far, only the Indy movies that have the original UPC bar-code and not UPC sticker over it, is giving the buyer InstaWatch copies. So, whoever is managing the InstaWatch program and inputting UPC codes that would be eligible haven't added those new UPC bar-codes, despite the product being virtually the same. If the walmart site had the 3.96 titles up to buy online, I would have order them there. The whole reason for buying them was for the IW copies of them.

            Raiders: 032429203946 (Original UPC: 032429134943)
            Temple: 032429203953 (Original UPC: 032429134967)
            Crusade: 032429203878 (Original UPC: 032429134981)

I am also having issues with Enemies Closer, Pitch Black and Riddick IW copies I got from blu ray purchases. The IW copies gave me SD copies them instead of HDX.

I bought a lot of the 3.96 and 6.96 BD's -- 25 were added and 17 were not. Based on Walmart.com, it looks like I'm not really missing anything because the 5 that it didn't add automatically though Instawatch come with a digital copy anyway. I can't complain about that.

              Not added:
The Legend of Hercules 3D (031398213307)
              Safe House (025192255809)
              Indiana Jones 1 (032429203946), 2 (032429203953) and 3 (032429203878)

But the Indiana Jones movies don't come with UV or Vudu copies. It's only good for Itunes from what I remember.

Now, after checking through the added titles, I note 5 added as SD:

                  Blood Ties (031398213383)
                  Sinister (031398213093)
                  Empire State (031398213031)
                  Gangs of New York (031398212935)
                  Finding Neverland (031398213024)

Would love to see it fixed but again, I'm not at all upset about it.

This is why I stopped using instawatch. I end up just having to use the codes to d2d to get the HD copies if the copies show up at all so I might as well get the movies cheaper elsewhere (obviously not today since it's BF, but in general).

Yeah, I'm a little let down by the lack of HDX on my Doom and Sin City bluray purchases.

Also no luck here with the three Indiana Jones titles showing up at all. I was excited to buy them strictly because of the Instawatch capabilities. I haven't opened them yet, but I'm guessing there is no way to get them into Vudu using the digital copy inside the packaging is there?

It doesn't matter. They're two totally different systems.

I think we're talking two different things. WM dropped a lot of the online prices on their instawatch titles to $6-10 (for blu-rays) yet they all seem to not be available for purchase. Are you saying all of these are also in store only? Some aren't even available in store either.

I'd prefer to order online rather than have to pickup the item in store and then have to ship the items home. Hence the reason why I was interested in the outcome of in store purchases for the lower priced titles. If the instawatch isn't available then that's no longer an option for me.

EDIT: I see that WM has since added some additional titles with an online price of $3.96. Which begs the question if these prices are in store online then why update the online prices when they won't let you purchase these titles online. Might as well keep the higher prices for those titles so customers' that want to purchase the titles any way can.

I can't tell you about the others except "Enemies Closer". My BD gave me the HDX copy when I redeemed on Vudu. I would call Vudu Customer Support and ask.

I was responding to the fact that he said he wasn't worried about them not being added to instawatch because they came with a digital copy code. He should be worried if he wants them on Vudu.
