    AutoPlay Feature - Request

It would be nice to have an AutoPlay Feature added to Vudu, that once selected will play a random movie owned by the user. This would bring additional features, such as play continuously until user stops so multiple movies play, and skip to next random movie.

Please add the same watch next autoplay feature that's in roku app to Sony tv android vudu app....Thanks

i vote against any kind of auto-play at all ! or.. at the very least, the ability to turn it off. nothing ruins UI's more than Auto-play, just ask nflix

That auto-play thing just sounds like the worst idea ever, it's right up there with the UV thing.

If they do offer auto play, I hope we can turn it off. That way those who want it get it and those that don't are not bridled with a feature they don't want.

Yes, please ADD an autoplay feature for tv with the option of turning it off! Clicking play every 20 minutes becomes an annoyance.
I'm a fan of the autoplay feature. Dvds/blu-rays have a PLAYALL option for tv shows.

            Options could be:
            - turn autoplay on/off (for those who dont want it)
            - timeout minutes option. IE after 1hr, 2hrs, 3 hrs autoplay pauses. With option to not stop until user stops.
            - timeout episode option. IE after 2, 3, 4, 5 episodes autoplay pauses. With option to not stop until user stops.

            PLEASE ADD AUTOPLAY!

There IS autoplay you can turn on for TV, at least in all the Vudu apps I've used.

What the OP wants is an autoplay+shuffle feature for movies, which to be honest seems like not that good of an idea. I sure wouldn't use it. Also, it would waste a lot of bandwidth if people started it and then happened to walk away. There's literally 0% chance this ever gets implemented. Streaming companies do it for TV shows since they're shorter, and even then a prompt pops up every few episodes or so to ask if you're still watching.

A button to play one movie at random would be kind of cool if I couldn't decide on what to watch, but there's way more pressing things that would benefit the Vudu UI that I'd prefer to see added first.

Auto play is just a horrible and annoying idea, definitely file that idea under g for garbage.

I really love Vudu as it make sure all my Movie collections are at least all in the same place. I have been considering buying more of the TV shows I love from here to keep my digital collection all in the same place, however, I do no like that I have to individually click each episode to get it to play. I would very much like an auto play feature so that one episode plays after another until the season finishes, at the very least.

Count me against it. Auto-play is the worst. I don't want to have to jump up to grab the remote just because a show finished.

I'm also against "Auto-play" as I hardly ever watch more than one episode at a time. Speaking of TV shows, does anyone know how to reset a TV show where you watch more than once so that it doesn't show as already been seen? It's easy on an iTunes TV show but not on Vudu. It's ok on a Roku because on that device it will at least go to the next show on the series when you're ready to watch another episode but under the new interface (like on Shield) there is no way to tell which episode is next on the list.

Autoplay feature that plays a random movie as described in the initial post is a stupid idea. Please, no.

However autoplay for TV seasons would be great (as long as it could be switched on or off). It gets annoying having to continously push play when binge watching a show.

How about it is a setting that can be turned on or off? That way those that want it (not sure why) and those that don't (myself included) can have it the way they want it.

                            This feature already exists.
On mobile app go to Settings > Account > Binge Watch
On TV app go to Settings (Gear symbol @ top) > Autoplay

Thanks! I usually watch on a Roku or a Playstation 4. Can't wait to try it out.
