    video shimmer

Watching CoCo, Justice League and now Thor: Ragnarok deleted scenes I have noticed the video will shimmer or distort on two different Roku player one is wired and the other wireless. Has anyone noticed this anomaly? My internet speed is over 100mbps and does not appear to be internet dropout but a flaw in the encoding.

Hey, a few questions so we can investigate:

Do you see this throughout or only in specific scenes? (if specific scenes could you give approximate times?)

And which quality are you watching - HDX, UHD, etc? If UHD, do you know if it's HDR10?

Finally - which Roku model(s) are you using and what model TV is it connected to?

I've had this same issue on random content, mostly HDX. My speed is even faster, but I've been trying to figure out what is causing it, happens on both wired and wireless.

It happens throughout the film I was watching them in hdx. I will have to check the UHD. Roku Ultra and express. Tvs are a Samsung ju6500 that the Roku Ultra is plugged in to and an eight year old LG in the bedroom that the express is plugged in to.

To clarify: are you saying this was also seen in Coco and Justice League *full* titles or just in bonus content/deleted scenes?

Also - how is your Roku plugged in? Via a receiver or directly to the TV?

If we can't reproduce it, we may ask you to take a quick video of what you see, if that's ok.

[edit: some guesses at cause were probably wrong, I removed them for now].

The Roku Ultra to Denon 3300 to TV 24p and Express to Yamaha 665 to TV 60p. After re-watching CoCo on the Ultra in UHD HDR 10 there were no anomaly's. Re-watching some of the scenes on the Express I I did not see the anomaly again. I'm starting to think the express may be over heating and causing the anomaly I was experiencing. That little express is super hot. But will continue to look.

Hi! Coco is unnwatchable on my samsung ks8000. It split screens and distorts the image while the audio keeps playing fine. I have over 55 mbps and have HDX version of Coco. This is not occurring with any other movies that i have tried, just Coco. What is going on here?

The same thing is happening to me, I wrote VUDU support and attempt to include a video of what happens. If you fast forward, the video feed will start working instead of only showing distortion. I don't want to have to do a work around to view the movies I own though. Please help fix.
