We don't really keep track here of ATV stuff. You can probably get that from a site like atvfan.com or whatever it is. I think they keep track of ATV content.

Last I checked, I think Vudu had a lot more HD content to rent and a larger catalog by far. Vudu has probably closer to 8000 or 9000 discrete titles (that 6800 number or whatever doesn't include TV shows or naughty content).

Perusing my Atv I would say they are pretty close together in SD, each having some catalog titles that the other does not. Vudu seems to have a larger HD library. That being said I only use my Atv for TV shows, mainly because of the superior PQ and SQ of Vudu. At first I relegated the Atv to the bedroom, because of the problems I had with the buffering during the streaming of movies. Then I just went ahead and bought another Vudu box for the bedroom, so I just download to the PC or Mac and stream TV shows from there to the ATV.

That's basically what I do too.

I don't think though that ATV has the depth of independent titles that Vudu has though. Many of them are movies you'd never want to watch or that you've never heard of. But for regular popular titles, the two boxes are probably fairly equal in SD numbers.

My ATV's main use now days is Boxee. But sometimes it's even frustratingly slow for that (I think it has just a 1 GHz processor).
