I redeemed my code from 4K at VUDU just after MA took over. I contacted DMA and was told the cutoff was when DMA went away and MA started which was late October. I was told by DMA that they would have upgraded my copy if I had redeemed it prior the OCT something... but could not presently redeem anything since MA had taken over. This was right after MA started. I contacted MA who told me not yet but to keep checking back. So I did that every few weeks... Until recently... When MA told me nope and to try to contact Walt Disney itself... I then contacted them and was told nope. They actually said. Technology changes and it just wasn't available in UHD redemption at the time I redeemed my code even if it is available now. Basically I should have waited. And now that I was told nope twice (once from MA and once from Disney), I have no reason to contact them about this anymore.

Yes, you get UHD on Vudu with redeeming code with 4K Disc of The Last Jedi on MA. Same as Thor Ragnarok. I Didn?t get UHD when I redeemed GOTG2.

So I contacted Disney who said the code only gives a HD copy, but when I preessed about Coco and Thor being UHD this is the response I got:

So it would probably help if others contacted Disney to voice their opinion about the previous UHD Blu-rays not giving UHD Digital Copies.

I hit Disney up as well and got a similar response.

When did you redeem it and get UHD? Within the last few days? If so, where did you redeem it? That would be great news.

Cars 3 is the ONLY one that didn't redeem for me as UHD from UHD disc.

Pirates: Dead Men, Guardians Vol 2, and Thor:Ragnarok all from UHD disc redeemed as UHD.

                All were redeemed at Vudu.

But "when" is the more pertinent question. Some that did redeem UHD at one time, stopped giving UHD at a certain point. But are they giving UHD again now?

Unfortunately like I said Disney UHD redemption was very inconsistent until recently. They got a lot of complaints and starting with Coco 4K discs now redeem as UHD.

I bought it October 3rd and I'm sure I redeemed it the same day , as I usually do.

Redeemed my MA slip code on Vudu and got the UHD streaming with Vudu.

Redeemed the code at DMA to get my DMA points since it's not automatic when redeemed with Vudu.

                            Happy camper.

Now if I could only get Disney to give me the UHD streaming from my Cars 3 UHD disc.
