Re: Is anyone apprehensive about buying or renting the interview?

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

She says that while their threats to attack movie theaters were empty threats, after The Sony hack that have demonstrated that they are very good hackers.

I think my wife is paranoid and that the odds of something like that are astronomically unlikely, but I was wondering if she's alone on this. Does anyone have similar fears?
You're making that up. Very funny. You should've added dog's names to the list, too.

OK, clearly I was right the first time. You are indeed just a troll.

Well, you can tell your wife to relax.

North Korea didn't even DO the Sony hack, it is becoming more and more apparent that the US government is just trying to pin the blame on them, probably to deflect some scrutiny from things the government here is screwing up with.

The firms that are investigating it say that it looks like a former employee teamed up with some hackers who dislike Sony due to their anti-piracy policies.

Reports are that Russian language was used in a lot of the messaging back and forth

I agree. I purchase very few that are not UV, which means almost zero Disney. HUGE deal is correct!

Well, I have no problem at all buying Disney. To me UV and DMA are the same. As long as I buy a movie that is apart of an official studio service I'm fine with it (meaning no non-UV or non-DMA or iTunes and Amazon).

Vudu is the only streaming service I use. All it takes for me to consider buying or renting a movie from Vudu is if Vudu has it. I absolutely will not buy or rent anything from Vudu if they don't have it.
