shouldn't need a time table. Its a UV movie...It should be UV on digital release date. Not sure why this concept seems to be hard to understand.

Target Ticket, Cinema Now, MGO all have it as UV. No excuse why Vudu doesn't. If everyone didn't have it UV then I would have no argument. But that isn't the case.

There is no debate on Fury being a UV movie. UV is all about streaming. If it is released early it should be UV. If its not UV ready then don't release it early.

Does anyone ever complain over at the Netflix forums that Vudu has same day releases, or Vudu does 1080, so why doesn't Netflix? I just do not get what Vudu's competitors have to do with Vudu. No customer here knows the arrangements that Vudu has with the studios.

Oh, and I forgot: period. End of story.

        Re: Fury not UV!!!

Where's jeffpn? This made me think of his post about large VUDU collections. For me, an additional benefit of having lots of movies in my VUDU library is I really don't care if a movie is or isn't UV when it is released - eventually most new releases seem to get there and are available for less when I get around to picking them up. In the meantime, got lots of stuff to watch.

          Truth.

Well said. It doesn't matter at all what Vudu's competitors have or don't have. Vudu has agreements with the studios, not with their competitors.

This understanding still probably won't stop the incessant whining though.

Umm that is a great argument I guess..I understand Netfilx doesnt have same day releases so when I sign up for the service. I understand they they dont have 1080p when I sign up for their service.

Your comparison is like apples to oranges.

However on Vudu some new releases don't have UV enabled on release date while all other same type services do. And the only way it seems to get fixed is by starting a thread and having Daniel get it fixed.

              Re: Fury not UV!!!

Explain to me the process of how movies get the UV status at Vudu, then you can tell me it's apples to oranges. If its a Vudu oversight, they'll get it fixed. If Vudu's hands are tied for a period of time after a release, then what?

if Vudu would come out and say that there hands are tied until Wed at 3 pm then great end of story but I don't believe that is the case.

I have a hard time believing the studios would tie the hands of the best and biggest streamer out there.

We had a thread going about Gone Girl and after Daniel got on it was UV enabled later that afternoon so this is why I made this thread so Daniel can look into it and get if fixed.

Now that we have a good discussion going on the topic, go back and read your original post in this thread. Can you see how you're irritating other forum members? You could've just as easily posted, "Vudu - Fury is not showing to be UV. Would you please look into this?" and let it go. If it's fixable by Vudu, you know they'll fix it. It won't happen sooner than possible.

and then it would get no replies and be off page one in no time and never get fixed. By everyone replying it keeps it going and Daniel sees it.

I fully understand it will eventually get UV status but its just frustrating that this seems to be a constant issue with vudu.

Be nice to have people over and watch Fury on New Years eve a month before its released on DVD.

                      Re: Fury not UV!!!

If you're going to make threads about wanting a movie to have UV status on Vudu then try doing it nicely and without all the exclamation marks where it comes off that you're screaming about it -- there's no need for that. It would have been just fine had you made a thread saying:

Fury does not have UV status on Vudu but does on other providers

Can you please enable UV status on the movie Fury? Thanks.
This is all that you needed to say.

understandable and if this was the first time this has ever happened that is the way I would post it but unfortunately this is becoming a trend with vudu and its becoming frustrating.

Yes, it is a trend. We are all obviously painfully aware because you post about it weekly.

                          We get it.

Instead of hammering this to death on the forum, why not just send a PM to Daniel directly?
