    (5) SPIDER-MAN UHD (Code Redeem) - Give HD UV Licenses - Please Fix.

All 5 Spider-Man titles are now UHD at VUDU and port in from MYUV from UHD licenses.

However, all 5 are still delivering HD licenses if redeeming 4K codes at VUDU.

    Please fix?

    Spider-Man 1, 2, 3 and Amazing Spider-Man 1 & 2

We would like to be able to redeem these codes on VUDU for the 4K versions. J Jonah Jameson would be so disappointed if he couldn't get those 4K pictures of Spider-Man.

I have them all redeemed thru Movies Anywhere and they show 4K. When will my copies in Vudu be upgraded to UHD?

Redeemed all mine with Sony directly months ago and they ported over to Vudu as HD. Today I logged in and they show as UHD purchased TODAY on Vudu. Curious how this happened.

That just means that they were pushed to Vudu from UV today. I've had that happen w/other films that were redeemed elsewhere.

I've been sitting on my 4K codes waiting for Vudu to get these. Hopefully they add UHD Redemption soon.

Why not just redeem them at Sony and have the UV licenses push over?

From my understanding there have been issues lately with redeeming codes at Studios sites that are non-MA and then having them port properly out in 4k. The better place to redeem is at MA but you do not get UV licences. Only Vudu redeems would provide UV and MA licenses and just plain work all around Please hook us up with a fix Vudu.

Not saying it can't happen, but that has not been my experience. It just seems silly to wait for another solution when you have a working option in front of you. After all, things do change, and for all we know Sony could stop supporting UV redeems next week, and anyone who waited would have given up their chance to get a dual UV/MA license.

Anyone redeem code(s) from the Spider-Man 5 Movie Steelbook set? If so, what was your results...HD or UHD....UV and or MA? Your replies would be helpful and greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I've never had a problem redeeming a 4k code on sony and having it port over. All my sony codes show as 4k in UV. My Spider-man codes ported to vudu as 4k and ported into MA as 4k.

I've never seen a case where someone redeemed a 4k code on sony sites that didn't port into vudu correctly and to MA correctly for titles that vudu has in 4k.

"Never"? You are talking about a process is less than a year old and even less than that when it comes to Sony titles being UHD on VUDU or porting that way. Last fall I had a email battle with Sony as my UHD titles were trapped there and they ended up giving me a code to redeem on MA. And we've seen many, many issues with MA sync and situations that worked great be reversed (like MA titles going to UV through VUDU). Digital 'rights' are still a mess and risky. Redeeming on VUDU could reduce that risk given Sony store is no MA.

Personally I'm still sitting on my UHD Spider-man codes until they redeem as UHD on VUDU (as I already have HD on digital and the UHD discs at home).

I just redeemed the codes from both the Spider-man 4k Steelbook sets the other day at Sony Pictures...each resulted in porting UHD to VUDU and 4k at MA which I had them in HD previously. For some reason at FN the original Spider-man out of the 5, downgraded from HD to SD while the rest retained their HD status...I don't have FN & MA linked as of yet either...not sure what that's all about. I also have quite a few other Sony titles in UHD that only show SD being owned at FN.
