Movies Anywhere - Vudu <> Amazon

How can you sell if a Movies Anywhere title is going to transfer between Vudu and Amazon. On Vudu I see the MA logo. On Amazon I don't see any MA logo on any of their Prime Video titles which should be MA titles.

Likewise with the switch from UV to MA and the Vudu interface there needs to be some re-clarification. In other words with UV and the old interface there was potentially two UV logos per title. One meant that if you have that title Vudu would push rights out. The other meant you could redeem to purchase in UV. In some cases it wasn't necessarily both.

Amazon has never had a MA symbol, and don't see them adding one anytime soon. By the way MA works, if the title is MA on Vudu, it SHOULD BE MA on Amazon, GP, iTunes and FNOW. However, if the streaming service in question doesn't offer that movie for sale or rent, it won't port over at all until they add it. If you can see it on Amazon, it's a safe bet it will port. If not, just make a new thread here, we use to report non-porting titles and would hassle until they were corrected. What title is it? One of us here may already have the title and can confirm for you.

I was looking at the National Treasure 1 & 2 movies on Amazon since I have video credits from shipping selections. I figured the Disney titles would be the safest bet. But you're advise of checking to see if it's available MA on Vudu and also for sale on rent before committing to buying is a good game plan.

Those are a safe bet for MA, nothing to really worry about. If they don't port after buying, just unlink and relink, but I've never seen any Disney title have any issues, it's usually non Disney ones that have always had issues.

Another way to tell is to use the MA website to search for a title. If it appears there then it is MA. Just make sure that Amazon is linked to MA in the settings.

Both National Treasure 1 & 2 ported for me. Should be good to go.
