    Like Water for Chocolate

So I bought "Like Water for Chocolate" on release date (Aug 19th 2014), the movie included a UV redemption.
    http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Like-W...lu-ray/105200/

During that time, I checked in VUDU and they only offered the title in SD, therefore I thought if I was to redeem in VUDU it will redeem in SD instead of HD/HDX, so I redeemed in FLIXSTER. Everything went fine, it transferred to Target Ticket and Cinemanow in HD but when it came to transfer to VUDU, it didn't even transfer in SD.

So I open a ticket with support and they gave me some random excuse back in 10/24/14...

"We apologize for the inconvenience. If a content is not importing correctly from an UltraViolet account and you have verified that the movie is UltraViolet compatible and the movie is in your UltraVioler account, then it is related to what is called an ALID (Association code). ALID's are code associated with every movie on our service and other services as well. Our systems update ALID's as they are updated automatically. Other services do not update their ALID's in the same fashion. If a movie is not importing correctly, it is due to our systems having the most current ALID for that particular movie and the other company having a different one. The ALID's not matching is what causes the issue. Since this is an issue with the streaming service you redeemed the movie through, you will need to contact them and explain that the movie ALID on their end isn't matching up with VUDU's ALID."

So i checked again with VUDU and FLIXSTER support today and they are still throwing the ball back and forth saying nobody is at fault. Now to make things worst... I can't even search the title in VUDU anymore, it is still listed under the "Redeem Ultraviolet Copy" page and under "Convert DVDs" but no longer able to search or purchase the movie using the main search bar anymore.

So what's the story with that title? Should of I redeem in VUDU instead even tho it would of redeemed in lower quality?

What I want to know is why are the ALID's changing so much anyway?

Take a look now, it should have imported to your account.
