    Yup.

I'm also being told that people who owned The Shallows in UHD in MA now have it in UHD on Vudu, but Vudu hasn't added the option to purchase it...

I've been told The Shallows is 4K on Vudu if you own it in 4K via MA. It doesn't seem to have the UHD option enabled to purchase yet?

Really wish Vudu would hurry up and add 21/22 Jump Street, Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates, Pixels and Snatched. These are just some of the ones I have sitting in MA as 4K.

The below movies are porting into Vudu in UHD.

        Apollo 13 (1995)
        Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (2000)
        The Dark Crystal (1982)
        Hancock (Theatrical) (2008)
        Julie And Julia (2009)
        Labrynth (1986)
The Quick And The Dead (1995)
        Resident Evil: Afterlife (2010)
        Salt (2010)
        Starship Troopers (1997)

It may say you own a title in UHD but that does not mean you can view it in UHD. Apollo 13 shows I own it in UHD but it does not play in UHD. Presume the same for the rest.

It appears VUDU has allowed UHD and HD ULTRAVIOLET licenses from MYUV to port into VUDU now. Even if VUDU does not yet have the content to offer them in those higher resolutions (but some higher resolutions have also been added).

This then allows those titles to port through VUDU to MA at the resolution you own them in.

VUDU doesn't seem to yet carry all the actual HD or UHD content for these titles, so they will not yet play at VUDU in the new resolutions.

But it will correctly show the highest resolution you own via UV, if you owned a higher UV resolution license.

This is a UV-to-MA pass-thru "fix" in one aspect.

Also note, you cannot buy the "upgrade" titles at VUDU in the updated resolution (unless it is truly available in that resolution).

This is a great solution for passing the UV rights on to other MA providers, but may be confusing for some people at this stage.

FelipeF - am I interpreting this right?

Seems to only be a handful of titles if so. I own a few UHD in MA, and they still show as on Vudu.

Seems only Julie and Julia is actually UHD on Vudu currently. Hopefully this means more to come soon.

So far I've noticed these have changed to UHD:

Close Encounters of the Third Kind (Theatrical and Special Edition)
                  The Passengers
The Bridge on the River Kwai
                  The Vow

Something is happening and it's GREAT!

Only The Vow went UHD on Vudu. Vudu is importing UHD quality from MA, so when they do offer it in UHD and you already own it, you will get it. It will state now you own UHD in Vudu, even without them having the UHD transfer. Think of this like how UV housed our UHD without Vudu having UHD transfers. You can confirm this by logging out of your account then searching the titles.

I think the UHD is being imported from UltraViolet not from MA. I've had a number of non-MA titles also get updated to UHD such as Moonlight and Gods of Egypt.

Either or, if it's in both, if just UV and non-MA, then UV.

That's weird. It seems to only be going in one direction for me (UV -> Vudu -> MA). I have several titles in 4K over at MA that haven't been upgraded here at Vudu.

A good example is The Quick and the Dead. People have reported that that film has been upgraded to UHD for them via UV. However, I have the title in 4K over at MA (purchased via iTunes) but it hasn't upgraded here at Vudu.

That's why I thought the upgrades were only coming in via UV. I figured it hadn't upgraded for me here at Vudu since I don't have a UHD license in my UV library, only in my MA library.

VUDU sometimes takes days to show upgrades in your account from MA.

Hopefully once the UV transition is complete, VUDU will work on that.

Yeah my UV redeems started transferring but the post-UV MA redeems haven?t yet.

I'm not sure if it actually plays in UHD on Vudu or not, but Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid is available to purchase in UHD now.
