Recently, I purchased two Instawatch 3D movies online at Walmart.com. The first movie was Jurassic Park (3D Blu-ray + DVD + UltraViolet) (Widescreen). In regards to Jurassic Park 3D, I received an email from VUDU by Walmart stating that my digital movies have been deposited. It also gave me an option to Watch Now button. When I click on that button another tab opens up in VUDU and it states that I'm eligible to Instawatch digital copies. I took and attached 5 screen shots to break it down as to what happened at every stage and forwarded them to VUDU Customer Care.
I received an email from VUDU Customer Care stating "we have reviewed your case and it seem there are some mapping issues from the Studio end when it comes to the 3D availability." Our sincere apologies once again and we will let you know whenever the 3D title is ready in the near future."
I sincerely doubt that I will hear anything in the near future due to the fact VUDU basically stated that it's an issue on the Studio end. In other words, the customers continue to get penalized from an advertisement that stated "Instawatch" on Walmart.com online site.
Now, to the 2nd movie which is also eligible for Instawatch: X-Men: Days of Future Past. Same exact scenario as above. However, the VUDU Customer Care Representative stated "After reviewing your photos, it appears as though you did receive your shipping email. Within the next 24 hours, you will receive the email containing the TC number as they both do not come in the same email." And the Representative closed the case.
Well, guess what? I give you one guess. Twenty-four hours has come and gone. No email from Walmart regarding the TC Number. The movie is in route to be delivered. The next email I should receive will be to inform me that my movie is ready to be picked up. So basically it appears that I might have two 3D movies that I've paid for and can't watch via VUDU.
My apologies for the "novel" LOL. Please be careful when ordering 3D movies from Walmart online. Even if it says "Instawatch."
