Vudu Forum Guidelines

The Vudu Forums are designed to help viewers get the most out of their Vudu experience. Here, Vudu customers may post information, questions, ideas, etc. on the subject of Vudu and Vudu -related issues (home theater, entertainment, etc). Although the primary purpose of these forums is to help Vudu customers with questions and/or problems with their Vudu service, there are also off-topic areas available within the Vudu Forums for users to chat with like-minded people, subject to the limitations below.

Please post all comments in English. When posting a comment in the Vudu Forums, please conduct yourself in a respectful and civil manner. While we respect that you may feel strongly about an issue, please leave room for discussion.

Vudu reserves the right to refrain from posting and/or to remove user comments, including comments that contain any of the following:

1. Obscenities, defamatory language, discriminatory language, or other language not suitable for a public forum
2. Email addresses, phone numbers, links to websites, physical addresses or other forms of contact information
3. "Spam" content, references to other products, advertisements, or other offers
4. Spiteful or inflammatory comments about other users or their comments
5. Comments that may potentially violate the DMCA or any other applicable laws
6. Comments that discuss ways to manipulate Vudu products/services, including, but not limited to, reverse engineering, video extraction, and file conversion.

Additionally, please keep in mind that although Vudu retains the right to monitor, edit, and/or remove posts within Vudu Forums, it does not necessarily review every comment. Accordingly, specific questions about Vudu products and services should be directed to Vudu customer service representatives.

Terms of Use - User Comments, Feedback, Reviews, Submissions

      Did you already have the HDX version available in your Vudu library when you ported to UV, or were you one of us currently stuck with the SD digital version?

        I already had HDX in my VUDU library.

        I waited until the HDX versions were available before redeeming my code yesterday. So in my VUDU library it showed I owned the complete series in HDX but nothing had ported over to my UV locker until about 2 hours ago.

          I am so sad I didn?t wait 2 more days before I redeemed. I had no way of knowing I was redeeming the SD versions.

            I am happy to report I got this email and can confirm that my SD copies were upgraded to HDX and I got the two movies!

            "We're happy to confirm that we've worked with Warner Bros Home Entertainment to upgrade your SD quality digital copy of Batman: The Complete Animated Series to HDX quality. We've also included the animated movies, Batman: Mask of the Phantasm and Batman and Mr. Freeze: Subzero in HDX as a bonus."

            To be clear, they gave me a new code and link to redeem.

                    I received a totally different response to my query (received late afternoon yesterday):
                    I hope this email finds you well.
                    Unfortunately, we currently only offer Batman The Complete Animated Series in SD. The Warner Brothers Studio is currently working on a higher definition. However, we can not confirm whether or not this will become available. Thank you for being a valued Vudu customer and we will track this case.

                              I redeemed the code to upgrade my SD version to HDX from the email and received the two movies as well which is amazing! However, my uv rights for the show are only SD still. Also, Mask of the Phantasm is not in my Movies Anywhere account but Batman & Mr Freeze is. Could you look into this FelipeF Thanks

                                Awesome they decided to throw in the movies. Sadly, I decided to pick up Mask of the Phantasm a week ago when it was on sale for $5, since everyone was saying it wasn't included and couldn't be D2Ded. Oh well, can't complain about them adding something that originally wasn't part of it!
