        LoL

To add more drama to it all (at least for me) I preordered my set through Amazon when it was first available to preorder. The one that was delivered was completely crushed since they shipped it in a bag (from other Amazon reviewers I wasn't alone). I returned for a replacement, but my replacement was returned to Amazon since they tried to deliver early morning before my mailbox opened, and late at night after they closed. Then they were going to send it again, and it was suppose to be delivered today - but now it is marked as lost!

Hoping by the time I actually get my set from Amazon, everything will be taken care of on the digital end so I can enjoy it digitally and have a nice set for display

Appreciate all those at Vudu and WB trying to get this sorted out. I know we all wish it was done prior to launch, but I am glad and truly appreciate that the concerns are being heard and acted on instead of falling on deaf ears!

The same thing happened to me on my first delivery. It was dented and pretty badly. The replacement came the other day and it's crushed even worse. I'll be calling them again tomorrow and hopefully they can use a damn box to ship it this time.

That worries me! I requested they put it in a box for the replacement - hopefully they did, though hopefully it will actually arrive! Good luck on your end too! Its a race to see which companies are going to resolve the issues first! Amazon or Vudu/WB!

It's a great series - so it will be worth the wait and complications (I hope)!

I specifically registered here to say, I was one of the firsts to preorder this box set. I got my code, followed the warner brothers link which forced me to sign up for VUDU, which I have never used. Then I am stuck with Batman in SD and according to what I see I can only upgrade to HDX if I pay $24.99 a season?!?!

Can someone tell me am I just screwed for redeeming too early? Is there a path to changing this??

Thank you for any help or replies.

People shouldn't get penalized because they didn't have the "foresight" to wait to redeem their code....who would do that? People who redeemed right away and got stuck with SD, are no less important than those who waited. It was people like me (and others) who preordered this months ago and Warner Brothers decided to increase production of it.

Bottom line, we all purchased the box set and we should all get what we paid for.

I'm seeing some people on here redeemed and got the hdx version but what if I redeemed my code before this "fix" was made and got the SD version? Was that fixed? Did anyone get upgraded to the hdx or are the people with the sd version out of luck?

Redeemed my BTAS Blu-ray code the day it came out through WB link to Vudu. Redeemed in SD. Now finally seeing HDX as an option in Vudu, but still haven't been upgraded to HDX.

Is there any update for those of us who have already redeemed and got the SD version?

I submitted a ticket in case that was needed, but I am also looking for an update to know if the upgrade is going to happen for those of us that already redeemed.

So apparently now the redeeming the code now does give you HDX but no UV rights?!??!?

Calm down. They need to enable UV for all episodes. FelipeF Can you please have this looked into? Thanks for the help. And we have the green light to redeem the codes? The bundle is hidden right now.

I've contacted Vudu support and provided my receipt and code -- they're trying to transfer it to the HDX version, but seem to be having some difficulties. I feel sorry for them with the amount of people likely affected.

Edit: I was told by a phone agent that because of the number of people affected by this they're not escalating individual issues through the tiers of the customer service pipeline, as they would normally do. They're trying to fix the problem on a larger scale, which will help out everyone affected by it rather than upgrades to HDX on a one-by-one basis. He recommended calling back in a couple of days if the issue isn't resolved.

I talked to VUDU this morning. No one will say they GUARANTEE it will be fixed but they have been getting plenty of calls and believe it will be fixed. The rep seemed to think that new codes would be issued to those like myself who already redeemed. He did create a ticket/case number which is what he said they had been instructed to do and he firmly believes a fix is coming but it was being worked out with Warner Brothers.

I mean, it sounds positive enough, but of course proof is in the pudding. I would actually recommend calling VUDU yourself, not to harass, as that solves nothing, but simply get your own ticket/incident number in the system.

This is the follow-up email (with incident number) I got after the call:

"We wanted to let you that we are aware of the issue regarding the SD redemption of the Batman: The Complete Animated Series (Bundle) [sd]. We are currently working on this issue and a resolution is pending. When one is identified, we will reach out to all customers's affected by this concern to advise you of the resolution. We apologize again for any inconvenience this may cause; but thank you for your understanding."
