Robin Hood (2010) comes out on 4K Blu-ray tomorrow (9/11/2018). Can Vudu please get this Universal Studios title added in 4K?

This title is already 4K on iTunes and FandangoNow. Also, there are 2 cuts of the film -- (Theatrical) and (Unrated). Can Vudu try to add both cuts in 4K UHD please? This title also redeems for 4K at Movies Anywhere.

    Thank you Vudu.

Both the theatrical and unrated cuts are available on both iTunes and FandangoNow in 4K. Can Vudu add both cuts in 4k as well? Thanks.

They will likely tell you it is a studio decision, but at this point there has to be something more to this. Why VUDU routinely AND repetitively lags behind other retailers when it comes to selling UHD digital copies is certainly a cause for concern / consternation. I'm beginning to wonder if FN / iTunes are either more proactive about prepping their systems for new releases, or if perhaps they just have a friendlier relationship with certain studios. It just doesn't make sense that VUDU is unable to add so many new 4K titles until WELL AFTER their competitors do, and in many cases they aren't adding them at all. To be honest, it is extremely aggravating to have to wait weeks / months / years, before VUDU is able to get the same films in 4K that other retailers have had the entire time.

This REALLY hurts when you redeem films @ sonypictures / Paramount / FN to get UV rights, and then those UV rights end up never being able to manifest themselves because studios drop UV before VUDU adds those films in UHD. That happened with American Made and E.T. (at least) this past week when Universal decided to pull the UV plug. Those films will never port into my VUDU account from UV as UHD, and I have a feeling that multiple Sony titles will be dealt the same blow within the coming months. You are kept from receiving what you counted on eventually receiving when you redeemed a film's UHD code at a UV retailer. VUDU needs to talk to Sony, hurry up, and find a way to get UHD versions of films like Bram Stoker's Dracula, The Quick and the Dead, Passengers, The Shallows, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, Underworld: Blood Wars, The Men in Black Trilogy, etc. added to their lineup. I don't know if Sony has an exclusive deal with FN / iTunes or what, but VUDU is on the outside looking in and it would be nice to know why. If it is manpower / personnel that isn't a good excuse. Hire more people to keep up with the companies that you are competing against if that is the case.
