Star Wars Bundle - Price Rising After Pre-Order?

Will the price of the Star Wars bundle be raised above the $89.99 pre-order price if I wait a couple weeks before buying it?

I've read it's being raised to $99.99 after the 9th.

Too much for movies I've already bought over, and over, and over. I'll wait for the inexitable eventual Blu-Ray release of the unaltered trilogy. Hopefully by the time those come out, they will have Disney Movie Rewards/DMA codes included.

I agree, first VHS, then DVD, then Blu-ray. I'm waiting until the prices are $10.00 or less each.

I know that Star Wars sells so people will pay the 100.00 for it, but honestly we've been buying and rebuying these movies since the early 80s. Maybe at Christmas (When Episode VII opens) they will slash prices.

          We'll see

I was thinking the same thing. They'll probably have some sort of promotion for these when the next new Star Wars movie opens?

Its Disney the odds of a drastic price cut are not likely to happen

Would have loved to see each one at $14.99 pre-order instead, still saving $30, just so each one can have their own place holder amongst other titles in "My Movies". I also love how each movie contains its own special features neatly within the place holder.

I'm highly considering foregoing saving $30 just over these aesthetics, it sucks, but i know i won't regret it. I hate the "right right right right right" across a single tiled line.

Now with witnessing this digital release, I am becoming more and more convinced that Disney will not release the unaltered trilogy the way people want them to. Why? Simply because Episode IV is owned outright and exclusively by Fox. And that is 1/3 of the original trilogy. Just like now, Disney cannot offer a DMA code ever for Episode IV. And every time there is an Original Trilogy Set, Disney will have to temporally "lease" Ep.4 for the package. And then there is the issue of director George Lucas still having final cut and release approval of the films he directed (1-6). Also Fox would probably not donate a penny to the work involved as they are losing all their rights to Ep 5&6 in 2020. And I bet Disney would hesitate paying for Ep. 4 as they may never own it (I think at some point they will be a VERY large figure to buy it away from Fox, but not right away). There are far many more hurdles than the technical ones for releasing the unaltered original trilogy that I'm not sure alot of people understand. I would bet there will be no release of it in 2015, and in general, would be shocked if it even happens in 2016. Maybe in 2017, with the 40th Anniversary....
