    Bohemian Rhapsody Disc + Digital

Getting the Disc plus Digital (4K / UHD) is a nice offering. Shipping is free, so it's $25 plus tax and we can watch it today (kind of like Instawatch). I also noticed a Collector Package of Bluray / DVD / Digital and a T-shirt for $24.95 on the Walmart site (with free pickup). Trying to decide on this one.

The VUDU Disc + Digital includes the T-shirt as well

I see now. The details of the movie references the Blu Ray and T-shirt. I wonder if there will be a 4K Walmart Exclusive with T-shirt

It's not showing up with the T-shirt in the Order Confirmation screen (or previous screens). I'm hesitant to order without seeing this, because the "instawatch" element makes it non-cancelable.

I see it now! Wasn't there this morning, just logged in, clicked banner again and it's there. Thanks for the heads up, will order.

Website specifically says free T-shirt with Blu-ray Disc + HDX Digital, but NOT for the 4K UHD ? so it turns out, this is the same as the Walmart website. Choose one or the other. So I'm back to square one. The version with T-shirt is a collector's pack, the 4K UHD is a standard offering. There's my dilemma.

              We had the same dilemma.

I did a comparison of what we were getting and rationalized the UHD D+D was the best choice for us.

FOX codes from 4K discs have tradionally only provided HD digital.

The difference in cost (right now) between Blu Ray regular and T-shirt package is $5. If we wanted just HD the extra 5 would have been fine for a large t-shirt.

Since we wanted UHD and figured if we bought the 4K Disc on sale for $20 at some time in future we'd only get HD digital and UHD would have cost $10 at best to upgrade ($30 total), that the $5 savings to get UHD D+D was best choice for us.

We figured we can likley find a similar large t-shirt for about $10 in the future.

If Blu Ray by itself was the same price as the Blu Ray with T-shirt it might have been a harder dilemma.

In the end we felt the T-shirt was not enough of a benefit to outweigh the better resolution and better sound (especially better sound for this movie).

Best thing is to do a cost comparison on what stuff you'd want and the total you'll pay buying it packaged or separate. Then snag the D+D or store/online purchase that best fits your desire + acceptable spending.

Keep in mind D+D can change in price and even sometimes change to adding a shipping cost if waiting too long to decide.

I ended up buying the Blu-ray with Digital and T-shirt pack as a collector's item. Once it's delivered, it will remain packaged for the time being. The day after I ordered, the promo disappeared from both the Vudu site and Walmart dot com ? then showed up again later that day. I may end up buying the UHD version six - twelve months from now, when it shows up in the $14.95 barrel.
