It was a docoumentrary only sold at Best Buy focued on the Batman films from Nolan. I'm guessing it was sold or redeemed on CinemaNow, which ported to their UV accounts, so once UV ends, that title they will lose forever unless Vudu adds it before UV ends.

I only mentioned this because of the harsh tone of some of the postings almost demanding that Vudu fix these issues before the UV shutdown. I just don't think the posters should be so demanding when it wasn't a cause of some action by Vudu but probably had more to do with Movies Anywhere coming into being and supported by most of the studios.

    821 HDX

As noted before - many of these issues have been brought up, in pieces, over the years. titles in HD and multiple providers that are only SD at Vudu. Titles in UHD at multiple providers that are only HD at Vudu. Titles sold with UV rights, where VUDU hadn't applied the UV rights ... so they didn't port.

With UV claiming "customers will not lose titles" - that can be definitely made true, and we're hoping VUDU will help their customers see it come true. By making titles UV that need UV at VUDU, or adding the resolution (HD or UHD) so that those HD and UHD rights port in properly.

I know 6 of the 7 were just adding UHD transfers that were available elsewhere. I honestly don't see them correcting any of the UV issues, sadly.

Seriously that?s a horrible number. I love Vudu but come on, there?s 400+ titles left that have to be fixed.

I see "Death of Superman" made the "needs 4K" list under Warner, but also:

    Justice League: Throne of Atlantis
    Constantine: City of Demons
    Batman: Assault on Arkham
    Justice League Dark

All available in 4K from most/all other major providers, available in disc with digital codes that should be 4K.

Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby is now available in UHD on Vudu! So it can be crossed off the list!

You're correct I don't post a lot on the internet. I have 4k discs to watch instead. I post here about Vudu issues which I've had a couple of.

If you own physical they can't take it away. The only people pitching a fit don't own these titles the way they claim. It's not VUDU job to help you try and beat the system.
I have not bought a physical disc in the last 3 years i have however bought almost 600 movies directly from Vudu, Fandango Now and other places 4 of those movies have known issues either UV/MA or version issues. Based on the way you are attacking Wasteland I would have no rights because i do not have a physical disc. i have Over 4500 movies and 500 TV seasons in my collection. I for sure do not have all the discs I donated over 500 DVDs to goodwill not all that long ago. I do not even have a way to play them. or any disc for that matter.

So what's next? Is it a bad idea to even buy digital movies? What happens if VUDU or any of these companies shutdown? VUDU is a separate company from Walmart. Worse now about 3 years ago I stopped buying physical movies .. I have boxes upon boxes of Discs. Now I'm filled with uncertainty.

This situation really makes me feel very uneasy about digital movie purchases. I've literally purchased thousands a physical DVDs and Blu-rays over the decades. Regarding UV, I have a bunch that went from HDX downgraded to SD and what's worse I'm not certain how many are actually lost completely (if any). I don't have time for this crap of double checking, inventorying, keeping vanishing (thermal paper) receipts and a like. I went digital so I didn't have to worry about lost discs.

So what happens if VUDU decides to close its doors? It's bad enough that I have a few hundred dollars of orphaned movies on Google and Apple iTunes. I realize this is a UV issue .. but what's next?

Especially now I feel like a chump for buying movies in the first place with all these pirate sites. Sorry about the rant...
