+1 - Vudu please help preserve our digital movie rights! Ideally get UHD/4K resolutions for as many of these as possible, if not, at least fix the porting of UHD rights from UV to MA to pass through UHD to MA.

Thank you everyone for getting this list put together. I really hope someone from Vudu sees this and works on getting their team on all these titles right away.

Yes Vudu, these issues need to be rectified before 7/31. There's 173 days left until that date, 430 issues which averages out to 2.5 titles needing to be addressed per day. Clearly not impossible to achieve with the right personnel in place. We've invested a lot to own these in our libraries for the UV rights and qualities, no reason we shouldn't be able to obtain them. Step up!

    Tic-Toc Tic-Toc,
    Vudu's on the Clock!

Is Preacher season 3 supposed to be uv? I just checked and noticed the uv symbol isn't there in the vudu store.

I hope Vudu will take a good stab at fixing these but I hope if all is not fixed there will be some kind of fall back system in-place - even if it is just Vudu doing a full import of its connected UV users libraries from UV and storing any discrepancies for missing titles or quality of titles (and of course assuming all ALID issues will be fixed before shutdown as that is the easiest thing to fix).

This may involve setting up 'ghost entries' of missing titles or definition qualities minus the video files but there to merely grant rights. Movies Anywhere did this with 4k rights - codes were redeemable there and 4k title purchases imported into their transaction history before they officially rolled out 4k support. When they did launch 4k, everything just worked because they had prepared beforehand behind the scenes.

Then as the studios provide the updated files post UV closure, the UV database (or 'ghost entries') will be referenced, and users will be given the appropriate upgraded access if they are eligible, etc.

This is for titles already existing in UV libraries that are not importing into vudu at all, or not importing at the resolution owned - either because vudu does not offer a title in that resolution, or because of an alid mismatch.

The issue you mention about UV rights generated from a vudu purchase with a quality definition mismatch is totally separate.

Praying for a fix. I personally don't have anything that would/could be stuck once UV is dead, but clearly MANY others do. It's only right, and fair to them that these issues are address is a timely fashion - and before UV is GONE.

If all of these UV rights could port in to Vudu before July that would be excellent!
