"Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse" (Please Add UV Status)

I know UV is closing and this title doesn't officially come out until Tuesday, but this title should have UV status according to other retailers.

    Thanks in advance!

I was wondering about whether this would be uv or not so I looked elsewhere too and saw another retailer had it as a uv title so hopefully Vudu will get on that. I'm going to go guess Aquaman is supposed to have uv as well but I guess we have to wait.

What other retailers have this UV enabled?

Yeah, I'm getting nervous about "Aquaman" since I haven't seen it UV anywhere (yet).

I'm also hoping that VUDU adds a 4K Disc + Digital option. That would be nice.

            Blu-ray.com only has MA listed:

            Discs
            Blu-ray Disc
            Two-disc set (1 BD-50, 1 DVD)
            Digital copy

            DVD copy

Kaleidescape is an actual digital retailer so I would go by them before Blu-ray.com

The shutting down of the Sony store may have had an impact with the disc codes though.

For example, the Spider-man Trilogy UHD code was officially only MA if you looked it up on Sony's site. It redeemed UV if you went through the Sony Store though, but otherwise was MA only.

I would wait to see what is advertised on the discs before assuming anything. If the physical disc just says MA on the slip, then anything else is a bonus.

I just do not understand why? UV is done. Why do you care if it is UV eligible?

please move on to MA. The longer you try to hold on the worse it will be.

Because many of us share our movies with our friends and family and would like to see that continue as long as possible and even though with MA there are still ways of sharing we prefer to do it via Vudu because it's our preferred digital retailer.

You can share MA as well. When they download the app, it will give a code to be activated. Everyone I was sharing with has gone this route. They would be missing out on new releases from Fox and Universal if they stayed with Vudu. It really doesnt make sense for movies to be UV enabled now. I would rather have Paramount, Lionsgate and MGM join MA.

I've given each of my family members a different retailer that my MA is connected with.

Blu-ray.com often relies on user submissions and corrections. I do many myself. I wouldn't use that listing as gospel, especially before the disc comes out.

Actually, UV isn't done until August 1st.

I was a member of MA within minutes of their launch.

                            That makes no sense.

                              This is (currently) false.

That's not sharing. That's letting someone use your MA account.

If Sony makes a movie UV enabled prior to August 1st, I don't think it's too much to ask VUDU to enable it. So, I made a request.

Also, those with Kaleidescape, ULTRA, and Verizon FiOS might like having access to VUDU purchases, or having purchases from those retailers have their movie sync with VUDU to port to MA.

That's nice, but the film I'm referring to is from Sony, who's already a member of MA.

Both Paramount and Lionsgate no longer offer UV status to new releases (Lionsgate since last Summer, and Paramount since the start of the New Year), and MGM has NO UV titles (or very few anymore). The jury is still out on whether or not any more WB films will be UV enabled (last week's "Fantastic Beasts" title showed UV on VUDU for quite some time prior to release, yet "Aquaman" doesn't have it a week from release?).

Look, I want Paramount, Lionsgate, MGM, STX Entertainment, Hallmark, Image, etc., etc. to join MA. I want TV shows added to MA. However, asking VUDU to enable UV on a title that is apparently UV compatible is not an unreasonable request, and should not affect any decision by any studio regarding MA. UV's ending in July, but until July 31st, it's still here.
