UV status of current WB TV seasons bought before 3/13 (especially BBT Season 12)

Now that WB has lost UV status, how will Vudu handle the UV status of new episodes from previously purchased ongoing WB TV seasons? I assume many customers bought the current, ongoing Big Bang Theory Season 12 that is still adding new episodes while it had UV status. Just 17 of 24 episodes of Big Bang Theory Season 12 have aired. Will the remaining seven get UV status if the season was purchased prior to March 13, 2019? I am unsure if there are other examples.

I contacted WB about this, and they said to contact Vudu. FYI.

Edited to remove reference to DC Universe TV seasons.

I didn't realize that the current DC Universe seasons had ever been given UV status.

sankoni Oh! I just assumed since the prior seasons were UV. I know Big Bang was UV up to this point. I'll edit the post.

The DC superhero shows were never UV enabled for this season, but Big Bang Theory will be UV enabled for the entire season.

Thank you for the clarification FelipeF -- my family appreciates the helpful information. I don't know if other ongoing seasons are affected, but I'm curious.

Hi FelipeF, episode 18 of BBT Season 12 hasn't been UV enabled yet (or if it has it hasn't ported over into my account yet). This aired last Friday.

As of this morning Big Bang Theory Season 12 - Episode 18 has ported over to my UV locker. FelipeF if that was your doing, thank you.

Having BBT S12 in UV will produce what exactly?

I ask because for me BBT S10 and S11 passed to myUV properly yet do not import into FandangoNow. With only VUDU and FN offering playback it would seem that S12 would be the same.

I have the same issue with some of last seasons WB DC seasons as well. Pass to my UV but not into FN.

So really for me these are single redeem as I can only access them via VUDU.

Do you not have any family linked to your UV library?

Since UV allowed up to 5 seperate accounts to link the same library that makes a UV redemtion/purchase way more valuable than a simple single redemption.

Even though the titles do not import into FandangoNOW, if you had set up family sharing, you could have had up to five different Vudu accounts accessing the same titles.

I never set up family sharing. My point was the redemption was to a single provider and UV. Which means I can only access the titles via VUDU. And my hopes for these type UV issues (not passing through UV) getting fixed by July diminishes as we get closer to July.

FelipeF On March 14, 2019 (above), you stated "... Big Bang Theory will be UV enabled for the entire season." I just bought it and only episodes 18 to 24 (excluding 23 which I assume will show up soon) showed in my UV. Will it be the entire season or just the last quarter of the season? I bought it now only because it showed UV and your statement implied the whole season is UV. Please help! Thanks!

I think that was only true for people who purchased the season it prior to WB dropping out of UV on 3/13/2019. In fact, in the above thread we were specifically asking for those of us who had made the purchase prior to 3/13 because at the time UV status had only been issued for episode 1 through 17, which explains why now you are not getting UV for those episodes.

However, on a related note, FelipeF, can you look into episode 23. It looks like that episode is missing UV status. Episode 24 got UV status but episode 23 got skipped.

Episode 23 is now UV enabled. Give it some time to take effect.

As of March 14, UV rights had been removed. On that date, FelipeF stated "Big Bang Theory will be UV enabled for the entire season". The plain reading of that response is that, at some point in the future, the entire season (not just a subset) will be UV enabled. "Will be ... for the entire season" to me implies a future action on the entire season, not a reliance on the fact that part of it was UV in the past and that part will not be made UV anymore. I bought it at that future point (before UV goes away) and did not get the entire season in UV. If he had stated that new episodes will be UV, then I would agree with you and I would have never bought it. My hope is that this is just an honest mistake and that when Vudu says the season is UV, it actually is.
