Are there any plans for the VUDU app to stream 4K UHD on PC's using the Intel 7th generation Kaby Lake chips?

i already added the money to my account for the UHD video i wanted to buy so might as well do what it takes to get the content to play on my pc.
You could use a streaming box like a Roku 4 or Nvidia shield connected to your 4k monitor to watch this. Hands down, the best way to watch Vudu UHD with the best possible quality right now would have to be by getting one of the TVs that play Dolby Vision. That will give you the best picture you can get from Vudu UHD.

Except the Roku 4 does not support Dolby Vision or HDR 10...

Which is why I said the best quality is to go with a TV that will run Vudu UHD and Dolby Vision....

Let's all agree that there is no good way to watch Vudu UHD unless you have one of the few TVs that they have working with it in DV right now.

That would be fantastic news. It still stinks that my current TV and UHD player may never get VUDU UHD support, but at least I know that somewhere down the line another player I buy(maybe the Oppo 203?) will enable me to watch VUDU UHD content with HDR10. Especially for certain titles that may never see the light of day on 4K UHD Blu-ray like The Nice Guys.

Finally they are doing something that makes sense. Hopefully it's sooner rather than later. And hopefully a ton of devices get added that are able to playback the UHD titles in HDR10.

                        Hello,

I have a LG 2016 C6 OLED, Denon AVR X1300W (all firmware up to date) - using VUDU on the TV to stream Superman v Batman Extended Cut but my reciver is not showing Atoms as the sound feed just DD+DS (Dolby Surround). Picture looks great via Dolby Vision just no Atmos - any ideas?

                                Hello Livefeed

Unfortunately the LG 2016 TVs have a HW limitation that will not output DD+ over ARC so ATMOS will not be possible

                                Thanks,
